What is Reallief Gel I?

Reallief Gel I (for the skin) is a combination of products that are used to temporarily relieve minor pain from arthritis or muscle cramps. Reallief Gel I can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Reallief Gel I

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, or throat.If you experience severe pain, burning, stinging, or irritation where this medicine has been applied, as well as swelling, skin rash, and blisters, stop using the medicine immediately.Some side effects may be milder or even non-existent.Other side effects may also occur. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. To report adverse effects, you can contact the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.

Before you take this drug

Reallief Gel-I should not be used if you have an allergy to it or other salicylates, such as Aspirin, Nuprin Backache, KneeRelief Formula, Pamprin Cramp Formulas, Pepto-Bismol Tricosal Trilisate, and others.If you are allergic to latex, the skin patch could be harmful. You can ask your pharmacist or doctor if it is safe to use the skin patch.

If you suffer from:

  • Heart disease
  • Stomach bleeding;
  • Redness in the area of minor pain
  • Kidney disease is a serious condition.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist prior to using this medication on a child.Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or nursing.Avoid applying this medication to the nipple region if you are breastfeeding.

How to take Reallief Gel-I?

Follow the instructions on the label or those prescribed by your physician. This medicine is usually applied as a cream or gel to the affected area three or four times per day.Apply the Reallief Gel-EYE patch to dry, clean skin. Wear the patch for up to eight hours. Wear the patch for no more than three days. Do not use more than one at a given time, unless you are told by your doctor.Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Apply to wounds that are open, sunburned, or windburned. Do not use dry or irritated or sunburned skin. If this medicine accidentally gets into your eyes or mouth, rinse with water.Please read and follow all instructions for use that come with your medication. If you don't understand the instructions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.After applying the medicine, wash your hands.Avoid covering the treated skin with a heating pad or a bandage.Camphor and menthol may cause a mild burning or cold feeling. This sensation should diminish over time as you continue to use these products. If the sensation is severe, wash your skin with soap and warm water.

This medicine can cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • The symptoms persist beyond 7 days
  • Symptoms that disappear and then return
  • Minor pain and redness where the medication was applied to the skin;
  • Your condition gets worse.

Store away from moisture or heat at room temperature. Store away from direct sunlight.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Reallief Gel I is only used as needed. There is no daily schedule for Reallief. Use the product only as directed on the packaging.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of Reallief Gel I are not considered dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, seek emergency medical care or call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222.

What should be avoided?

Avoid getting this medicine into your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse with water if you do.Alcohol consumption can increase the risk of stomach bleeding.Do not use other topical pain relievers unless you are told to by your doctor.

Interaction with other drug

Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine used on your skin. Many drugs interact. Tell your doctor all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter and prescription drugs, vitamins, and herbal remedies.
