What is Astelin?

Prior to using this drug

Before you use Astelin, inform your physician of all medical conditions or allergies.It isn't known if this medication could cause harm to a baby who is not yet born. Inform your doctor if you are expecting or planning to be pregnant.The use of astelin when you breastfeed can cause your milk to taste bitter. How do I take  Astelin?

Utilize Astelin nasal spray according to the directions recommended by your physician. Using your Astelin Nasal Spray

1. Breathe into your nose to clean your nostrils.
2. Keep your head tilted down towards your toes.

4. Close your other nostril with the help of a finger. Pump the pump one time and gently sniff while making sure your head is tilted upwards and downwards.

6. If your doctor advises you to apply two sprays for each nostril, continue Steps 2 to 4 for the second spray for each nostril.
7. Relax your breathing and don't tilt your head after applying Astelin Nasal Spray. This will help keep the medication from getting into the throat.
8. After you have finished applying the astelin nasal spray, clean the spray's edge with a dry tissue or a cloth. The dust cover and safety clip are back on the bottle.

Do not get this medicine into your mouth or eyes.Do not let a young child take Astelin without the assistance of an adult.Contact your physician if your symptoms don't improve or if they become worse.The medicine should be stored in an upright position at room temperature. Avoid freezing.Discard the medicine once you've used up 200 sprays, regardless of whether there's still medicine in the bottle.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Take the medication as quickly as you can; however, take a break from your missed dosage if you are nearing the time to take the next dose. Do not take two doses at the same time.

Side effects of Astelin
