What is Calcium 500+D?

Side effects of Calcium 500+D
If you experience any of the following signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction: difficulty breathing, hives or swelling to lips, face or throat - seek medical care immediately! If you notice any of the following signs that your body has too much calcium, call your doctor immediately.
- Nausea, vomiting, constipation;
- Increased thirst or urination
- Muscle weakness and bone pain
- Feeling tired, confused, or lacking energy?
Side effects of calcium 500+D include:
- Irregular heartbeat
- Weakness, drowsiness, headache;
- A metallic taste or feeling in your mouth, or a dry mouth
- Muscle or bone pain

Before you take this drug
If you are suffering from:
- Kidney disease
- Kidney stone
- Heart disease
- Cancer;
- High levels of calcium in the blood
- Circulation problems
- Parathyroid disorder.
Consult your doctor if you're pregnant or nursing. Your dosage needs may differ during pregnancy.
How to take Calcium 500+D?
Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration. Use the recommended dose and do not exceed it. You can check the label to determine if you should take your Calcium 500+D with or without food. Take the tablet along with a glass of water. Chew the chewable tablet before swallowing it. No longer chew or crush the extended-release tablets. Take it as a whole. Calcium and vitamin D are only two parts of an overall treatment programme that includes diet changes. Search the ingredients list to identify foods containing both Vitamin D and Calcium. As you change your diet, it is possible that the dosage of your supplement will need to be adjusted. You should follow your doctor's advice. Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.
What happens if I miss the dose?
If you are almost due for your next dose, skip the missed one. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.
