What is Flexbumin?

Flexbumin is an injection that contains albumin. Albumin is a type of protein created by the liver and circulated within blood plasma (the clear liquid component in the blood). Albumin, which is medicinal, is composed of plasma proteins derived from human blood. The medicine is effective by increasing the volume of plasma as well as the levels of albumin found in the blood. Flexbumin can be used to restore blood volume loss that results from trauma, such as a severe burn or injury that leads to blood loss. The medicine can also be utilized to treat low levels of albumin due to dialysis, surgery, liver failure, abdominal infections, pancreatitis, respiratory discomfort, bypass surgery, ovarian issues due to fertility drugs, and many more conditions. Flexbumin is also employed for reasons not mentioned in this guideline.
