What is Finasteride and tadalafil?
Finasteride and Tadalafil are used to treat the symptoms associated with benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) in men. Finasteride and Tadalafil are meant for use by men only. Tadalafil and Finasteride can also be used to treat conditions not covered in this medication guide.
Side effects of Finasteride and tadalafil
Seek medical attention immediately. If you notice symptoms that indicate an allergic reaction (hives and breathing problems or swelling of your throat or face) or a severe skin reaction (fever or burning eyes, sore throat, and skin irritation, as well as the skin being red or purple and blistering and peeling),
Tadalafil and finasteride may cause serious adverse side effects. Contact your doctor immediately. If you suffer from:
- Symptoms of a heart attack: chest pressure or pain that spreads to your shoulder or jaw; nausea, sweating, and vomiting;

- Runny or stuffy nose;
- Flushing (sudden heat, redness, or a tingly sensation).

Before you take this drug
It is recommended not to use finasteride or tadalafil if you are allergic to them or if you are taking:

Don't take finasteride or Tadalafil when you are using a nitrate medicine to treat the chest or for heart conditions. They include nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, and isosorbide mononitrate. Nitrates also appear in various recreational drugs like amyl nitrate, butyl nitrate, or nitrite ("poppers"). The combination of finasteride and tadalafil when you are taking a nitrate-based medicine could result in a rapid and severe drop in blood pressure.
Finasteride and tadalafil aren't suitable for women.
Consult with your physician immediately if you were ever diagnosed with:
- Heart-related problems (chest pain, irregular heartbeat, heart failure);
- Hypertension pulmonary;
- A stroke or heart attack;
- Blood pressure, blood pressure, or lower blood pressure;
- The liver condition;
- Kidney disease (or if you're on dialysis);
- Retina pigmentosa (a genetic condition that affects the eyes);
- Vision issues;
- Hearing loss;
- Bleeding issues;
- Blood cell disorders include sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma or leukemia.
- An actual deformity that affects the penis (such as peyronie's disease) or an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours
- A stomach ulcer.
Do not take finasteride or tadalafil during pregnancy. This medication can cause birth defects in women who have been exposed to it during their pregnancy. A broken or opened capsule of tadalafil and finasteride is not recommended for pregnant women or those who are likely to be pregnant. The medicine from the capsule that has been broken may be absorbed into the skin.
How to take Finasteride and tadalafil?
Follow all instructions on the prescription label and review all medication guides and instructions. Make sure you use the medicine exactly as prescribed. Take one finasteride or daily tadalafil capsule without food, around the same time, for up to 26 consecutive weeks. Don't take finasteride or Tadalafil more than once every day.This medicine may affect the outcomes of certain tests. Usual dosage One capsule (containing finasteride 5 mg and tadalafil 5 mg) every day, orally.

What happens if I miss the dose?
Do not take the medicine for as long as you are able. Do not exceed one dose per day.

Finasteride in combination with Tadalafil may cause adverse effects.
Interaction with other drug
It is sometimes not safe to take certain medications in conjunction with other medications. Certain drugs may affect the blood levels and the other medications you take, which could cause more side effects or make the medications less effective.
Discuss with your doctor your current medications. A variety of drugs may affect finasteride or tadalafil, specifically:
- Medications to treat erectile dysfunction or hypertension of the pulmonary artery;
- Medications for treating hypertension or prostate disorders;
- An antibiotic like clarithromycin, the rifampin antibiotic, erythromycin, as well as telithromycin;
- Antifungal medicines like ketoconazole and itraconazole
- Treatment for hiv/aids, like ritonavir or others.
