What is Duaklir Pressair?
Duaklir Pressair is a dry powder inhaler that contains a combination of aclidinium and formoterol. Duaklir Pressair, a prescription medication, is used to reduce the severity of flare-ups and prevent airflow obstruction in adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and emphysema. Duaklir Pressair should only be used by people with COPD. It is not for the treatment of asthma.
Warnings
Duaklir pressair should not be used if you suffer from severe allergies to milk proteins or to aclidinium. Duaklir Pressair should only be used by people with COPD and not for treating asthma. Duaklir pressair is not an emergency medicine. It won't work fast enough to stop a bronchospasm. Seek medical help if you have breathing problems that do not improve or if they worsen quickly.
Before you take this drug
Duaklir pressair should not be used if you suffer from severe allergies to aclidinium, formoterol, or milk proteins.

How to take Duaklir Pressair?
Duaklir Pressair should be used exactly as prescribed by your physician. Read all the instructions on the prescription label. Duaklir pressair is not an emergency medicine to treat bronchospasm. Only use fast-acting inhalation medicines for an attack. If your breathing problems worsen quickly or you feel that your medication is not working, seek medical attention. Please read and adhere to all directions included with your medication, even if they seem unclear or unusual. If necessary, ask for clarification from either a healthcare provider or pharmacist. Store away from moisture, light, heat, and heat at room temperature. Never store this medication on a surface that vibrates. Store the inhaler in its sealed bag until you are ready to use it. Inhalers should be thrown away two months after the bag is opened, when the dose indicator shows zero, or if the inhaler has been used up and locked out. Duaklir Pressair should not be stopped abruptly. You may worsen your condition if you stop suddenly.
Details on dosage
Adult Usual Dose of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder: Maintenance:
Inhale twice daily, in the morning and evening.
Maximum dose: 2 inhalations per day.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Do not take the missed dose. Use your next dose as usual. Never use two doses in a row. Use no more than one inhalation twice in a 24-hour period.
What happens if I overdose?
Call 1-800-222-1222 immediately if you suspect poison or seek immediate medical advice. Some overdose symptoms include blurred vision and a dry mouth.
What should be avoided?
Use only a single inhaled bronchodilator containing formoterol.
Side effects of Duaklir Pressair
If you experience signs and symptoms indicative of an allergic reaction such as hives, difficulty breathing or swelling to lips, face, tongue or throat then seek emergency medical assistance immediately.
If you experience:

Symptoms of worsening respiratory problems

Tickles, nerves and chest discomfort; rapid or rapid-pounding heartbeats: these could all be signs that it's time for some medication!

A severe headache that pounds in the neck or ears

Urinating more frequently or with difficulty or pain

Blurred vision, red or painful eyes, or seeing halos around lights

High blood sugar: increased thirst, urination or hunger, dry mouth, and fruity breath smell;

Low sodium level: cramps in the legs; constipation: fluttering or tingling in your chest; muscle weakness; or a limp feeling.
Duaklir Pressair may cause side effects such as:

Interaction with other drug
Tell your doctor about your other medications, including:
