Topical medicines are meant for use on only the skin.Avoid using this medication on wounds that are deep, puncture wounds, bites from animals, or burns that are serious.You can apply Aquaphor Healing whenever you need to. The first step is to clean the area that will be treated.Consult your doctor if symptoms don't improve after taking this medication for seven days or when your condition improves but then returns.Place it in a cool, dry place free of heat and moisture.

What happens if I miss the dose?
