Before you Take this Drug

Usual Adult Dose for Depression:

Initial dosage: 10 mg orally every day, once
Maintenance dosage: 5–20 mg once orally every day.

Patients should be tested to rule out bipolar disorders, hypomania, and hypomania prior to initiating treatment.
Patients who are not able to tolerate doses higher than 5 mg may be kept on 5 mg taken orally every day.

What Happens If I Miss a Dose?

You should take the medication as quickly as you are able, but do not take any missed doses if you are close to the time of the next dose. Don't take two doses at once.

What Should be Avoided?

Interaction with Other Drugs
