What are Phenol EZ Swabs?

Phenol EZ Swabs are applied to the face to keep skin protected from infections when there are small cuts, scrapes, or burns. Phenol Easiest Swabs are used for scalp treatment to combat dandruff. Certain types of phenol topicals are employed in the mouth to ease the discomfort of minor mouth pain, inflammation, sore throat, or canker soreness. Phenol EZ Swabs can also be used to treat conditions that are not covered in this guide.

Side effects of Phenol EZ Swabs

See a doctor immediately. Get medical attention immediately if you notice symptoms or warning signs of an allergic response, such as difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling of your lips, face, or tongue. Do not apply Phenol EZ Swabs to your skin if you are allergic to them. Consult a pharmacist or doctor for advice on whether Phenol EZ Swabs are safe to use if you suffer from any medical condition or allergies. If you're breastfeeding, do not apply this medicine to areas around your breasts that could come into contact with your baby's mouth.

How to take Phenol Easy Swabs?

Follow exactly the instructions on the label or as recommended by your physician. Phenol Easy Swabs are available in a variety of different forms, including Swabs, Swabs Spray, Ointment, and Lozenge. Be sure to read and follow the instructions that are included along with your prescription. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor for clarification if you are unsure of these directions.

Follow the instructions on the medication label regarding applying this medicine to children. Some forms of topical phenol should not be used on children in certain age groups. Phenol EZ Swabs could be applied to the face when required. The first step is to clean the area to be treated. Before you apply Phenol EZ swabs to your skin, it is recommended to use a tiny amount of the medicine to ensure that you don't suffer from a skin reaction. Avoid using Phenol EZ Swabs on wounds that are deep puncture wounds, bites from animals, or burns that cause serious injury. Avoid applying it to large areas of skin. Do not place a bandage on the skin being treated.

Phenol EZ Swabs can be taken orally at least every two hours, as required. A child between 6 and 12 years old must not take over 10 chewable lozenges in 24 hours. Do not apply Phenol EZ Swabs inside the mouth if you're using a form intended for use in the mouth. To apply Phenol EZ swabs spray to your mouth, spray directly into your throat or mouth. Keep the spray in place for 15 seconds before you take it out and spit it out. Do not swallow the spray. To use Phenol EZ swabs as an oral rinse, gargle or swirl the liquid for 15 seconds before you rinse it off. Do not inhale the liquid. To use Phenol EZ Swabs as a lozenge, hold the lozenge inside your mouth and let it dissolve slowly.

When using this medication either in your mouth or on your skin, consult your physician if you notice any new or deteriorating symptoms of redness, pain, swelling, itching, or fever. Consult your physician if your sore throat is intense or continues for more than 2 days, or if you are also suffering from a temperature, headache, or nausea.

Do not let a child less than 12 years old use this medication without assistance from an adult. Keep it at room temperature, far from heat and moisture. Don't refrigerate. Each Phenol EZ Swabs Swab is intended for use once only. Certain forms of phenol can cause stains on clothing and skin. Be careful not to spill the medication.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Don't miss the dose you missed, and take your next dose at the normal time. Don't use two doses at once.

What happens if I overdose?

A dose of Phenol EZ Swabs isn't considered to be a risk. Get medical attention immediately, or contact the poison help line at 1-800-222-1222, in the event that anyone has swallowed the medication accidentally.

What should be avoided?

Beware of getting Phenol E-Swabs to avoid getting it into your eye.

Interaction with other drugs

Skin care products are unlikely to be affected by other medicines that you are taking. However, many medications can interact with each other. Be sure to inform your health care providers about the medications you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal remedies.
