Nystatin stops fungus from growing on the skin.Pediaderm Af (for your skin) is a treatment for yeast-related skin infections.Pediaderm AF is not a remedy to treat vaginal yeast infections.Pediaderm can be used for other purposes that are not covered in this guideline.
Side effects of Pediaderm AF
Contact a medical professional immediately. If you experience any of the following symptoms, they are warning signs of a reaction. symptoms of hives: breathing difficulties and swelling of your lips, face, and throat.
Stop taking Pediaderm AF and contact your doctor right away if you notice intense burns, the sensation of itching, a rash, pain, or other irritations where the medication is used.
Some less serious side effects can include minor itching or irritation.

Contact your physician if your symptoms don't improve or if they get worse after using Pediaderm AF.Don't take this medication with a different person, even if they suffer from the same symptoms as you do.
Before you start take this drug
You shouldn't apply Pediaderm AF if you've ever experienced an allergic reaction.
FDA classification for pregnancy C It isn't known whether Pediaderm AF could affect a baby who is not yet born. Inform your doctor if you are expecting or planning to become pregnant while taking this drug.
It is unclear if the topical nystatin is absorbed into breast milk or whether it can harm breastfeeding babies. Don't use this medicine without consulting your doctor, whether you are breastfeeding or not.
How to take Pediaderm AF?
Take it exactly as directed by your physician. Avoid using in larger quantities, in smaller quantities, or for longer periods than prescribed. Follow the instructions on the prescription label.Do not apply Pediaderm for any skin problem that has not been evaluated by your physician.Cleanse your hands prior to and after you use this medication.
Cleanse and dry the skin prior to applying Pediaderm AF.Don't cover the skin with dressings or bandages that don't allow air circulation unless your physician recommends it.
Take this medication for the entire period prescribed. Your symptoms may worsen before the infection is completely gone.Consult your physician if your symptoms don't improve or if they become worse after using Pediaderm AF.Don't take this medication with a different person, even if they suffer from similar symptoms to yours.Maintain room temperature and free of moisture and heat.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Utilize the dose you missed immediately after you recall. Do not take your missed dose if it's close to the time of the next dose. Don't use any extra medication to replace the missed dose.

What should be avoided?
Beware of getting this medication into your mouth or eyes. If it does happen, wash your mouth with water.
Do not wear tight-fitting garments made from synthetic materials (such as nylon) that don't allow air circulation. Wear loose cotton, as well as various other natural fibers, until the inflammation is gone.
Interaction with other drugs
It's not likely that other medications you take by mouth or inject can affect Pediaderm applied topically for AF. However, many medications can interfere with one another. Discuss with your doctor the medications you take. This includes prescription, over-the-counter or vitamin-based herbal remedies. Don't begin any new medication without first talking to your physician.
