What is IPM wound topical?

The IPM wound works similarly to the fluid around your joints. This medicine works as a lubricant for the skin, restoring moisture to it and preventing friction. IPM Wound Skin Medication is used to treat skin wounds like bedsores, diabetic foot ulcers, and burns. It can also be used for surgical incisions or cuts, abrasions, and other skin irritations. This skin medicine is also used for dry or scaly patches of skin.

IPM Wound Oral Gel is used to treat mouth ulcers and other irritations caused by infection, chemotherapy, radiation treatment, or dentistry. IPM wounds can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side Effects of IPM Wound Topical

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek emergency medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, or swelling in your throat.

If you notice any new signs of infection, such as:

  • Redness, warmth;
  • Pain, swelling,
  • Open or oozing sores

Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to IPM Wound, do not use it. FDA pregnancy class C There is no information on whether IPM wounds can harm an unborn child. You should tell your doctor if, or if, you plan to become pregnant while using the IPM wound.

Sodium-hyaluronate is not known to pass into breast milk or whether it can harm a baby who is nursing. You should tell your doctor if your baby is breast-fed.

How to take an IPM wound?

Do not alter the instructions on your prescription. Use this medication only as directed. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or use it for a longer period of time. This medicine should not be shared with anyone else, even if the other person has similar symptoms.

Use sodium hyaluronate as a skin moisturizer.

  • Before applying IPM wound gel, film, or spray, clean and disinfect the area.
  • Use enough medication to completely cover the affected area or the wound.
  • Use IPM Wound Gel, Foam, or Cream on an open wound. Apply the medication in a thin layer, rubbing the area as little as possible.
  • Use a sterile finger cot or rubber glove to prevent contamination of the IPM wound tube or bottle.
  • Cover the treated area of skin with a sterile dressing or gauze pad, as recommended by your physician.
  • IPM wounds are applied to the skin 2 or 3 times daily. Please follow your doctor's directions.

How to use IPM wound oral gel:

  • Open the gel package and pour all the contents into a glass. Stir the mixture well after adding 1 or 2 teaspoons of water.
  • You can use the gel undiluted if you don't have any water on hand.
  • Rinse thoroughly in your mouth by gurgling and swishing the mixture for at least one minute.
  • Before spitting out the medicine, make sure that your teeth, gums, tongue, and cheeks are all well coated.
  • After using the oral gel, avoid eating or drinking for at least one hour.
  • IPM Wound Oral Gel can be used up to three times per day. Please follow your doctor's directions.

If your symptoms don't improve, if they worsen, or if new symptoms appear, stop using the medicine and contact your doctor.

Store away from moisture or heat at room temperature. When not in use, keep the tube tightly closed. Oral gels should not be opened until they are needed.

What happens if I miss the dose?

You may not have a regular dosing regimen, as IPM Wound Topical is applied only when necessary. Use the missed dose immediately if you use the medication regularly. If your next scheduled dosage is near, skip the missed dose. You should not take extra medicine to compensate for a missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

What should be avoided?

Avoid getting IPM wound skin medication on your lips or in your mouth. If you do, rinse your mouth with water. Use only the oral gel version of sodium hyaluronate in the mouth. If you accidentally get this medication in your eyes, wash them with water.

Avoid using wound disinfectants that contain quaternary ammonium. Only use the wound disinfection method that your doctor has prescribed.

Interaction with other drug

IPM wounds applied topically are unlikely to be affected by other drugs that you may take orally or inject. Many drugs interact with each other. Inform your healthcare providers of all the medicines you take, including vitamins and herbal remedies.
