What is Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack?

Dexamethasone comes in a variety of brands and forms. This leaflet does not list all brands. Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack contains a steroid that prevents substances from being released in the body, causing inflammation. Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including allergic disorders, skin disorders, and ulcerative colitis. It is also effective for treating arthritis, lupus, or psoriasis. The Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack

If you notice symptoms indicative of an allergic reaction such as hives, difficulty breathing or swelling to lips, face or throat - seek medical assistance immediately!

The Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack can cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • Feeling of muscle weakness or tightness;

  • Blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain, or seeing halos around light

  • Rapid weight gain, swelling, and shortness of breath even with mild exercise;

  • Severe depression is characterized by unusual thoughts and behavior.

  • A seizure (convulsions);

  • Bloody or tarry stool, coughing blood

  • Fast or slow heartbeat;

  • Pancreatitis is characterized by severe pain that spreads to the back and upper abdomen, as well as nausea and vomiting.

  • Low sodium level; leg cramps; constipation; irregular heartbeats. Fluttering of the chest. Increased thirst or urination. Numbness or tingling

  • Increased blood pressure: severe headache, blurred or distorted vision, pounding of the neck and ears, anxiety, and nosebleed

Some of the common side effects associated with the Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack include:

  • Fluid Retention (Swelling of the Hands or Ankles)

  • Increased appetite

  • Mood changes, trouble sleeping;

  • Skin rash, bruising, or discoloration

  • Acne, sweating, and hair growth

  • Headache, dizziness;

  • Nausea, vomiting, upset stomach;

  • Changes in your menstrual cycle;

Warnings

This medicine should not be used if you are suffering from a fungus in any part of your body. Inform your doctor of all medical conditions and medications you use. Steroids can affect many diseases, and other medications can also interact with them.

Before you take this drug

Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack should not be used if:

  • A fungus infection can occur anywhere on your body.

Inform your physician immediately of any of the following conditions:

  • Liver disease (such as cirrhosis);

  • Kidney disease

  • A thyroid disorder

  • Malaria;

  • Tuberculosis;

  • Osteoporosis;

  • A muscle disorder, such as myasthenia gravis.

  • Diabetes (steroid medication may cause glucose levels to rise in the blood or urine);

  • Glaucoma and cataracts are both eye diseases.

  • Herpes infection in the eyes

  • Diverticulitis and inflammatory colon disease are all terms used to describe stomach ulcers.

  • Depression or mental illness

  • Congestive heart failure;

  • High blood pressure.

Your immune system is affected by steroids. You could be more susceptible to infections. Steroids may also worsen an existing infection or make it worse. Inform your doctor of any illnesses or infections you've had in the last few weeks. The Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack may harm an unborn child. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant. Dxevo Dose Pack should not be used while breastfeeding.

How to take Dxevo 11-Day Dose Pack?

Please read and heed all instructions or guides included with your medication, and follow them exactly. Sometimes your physician will alter the dose; in these instances it's essential that you follow his/her orders exactly and strictly as prescribed; take exactly as instructed even though dosage requirements could change due to surgery, illness, stress or medical emergencies. Do not stop taking Dxevo abruptly as this could interfere with certain medical tests; any physician you visit should know you're using this medication safely, wearing medical identification in case of emergencies and keeping it stored away from heat and moisture at room temperature is ideal for storage of this pack.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If you miss a Dxevo Dose Pack, call your doctor to get instructions.

What happens if I overdose?

Call 1-800-222-1222 for poison help or seek immediate medical attention. Overdoses of dexamethasone are unlikely to cause life-threatening symptoms. High doses of dexamethasone can cause thinning of the skin, bruising easily, changes in body weight (especially on your neck, face, back, and waist), acne, facial hair growth, menstrual issues, impotence, or loss of sexual interest.

What should be avoided?

Avoid being around people who are ill or infected. If you have been exposed to measles or chickenpox, call your doctor immediately for treatment. These conditions are serious and can even be fatal for people taking steroid medication. You should not drink alcohol when taking Dxevo Pack 11-Day. Avoid receiving a "live vaccine" while using Dxevo's 11-Day Dose Pack. The vaccine might not be as effective during this period, and you may not be fully protected from disease. Live vaccines are available for measles (MMR), rubella, typhoid (Yellow Fever), varicella (chicken pox), rotavirus (typhoid), polio (rotavirus), typhoid (rotavirus), syphilis (syphilis), syphilis (typhoid), yellow fever (typhoid), zoster, and syphilis (shingles).

Interaction with other drug

Certain medications should never be taken together. Taking certain drugs together can cause side effects and/or make other medications less effective.

Inform your doctor of all the medications you are taking. Dxevo 11 Day Dose Pack can be affected by many drugs, including:

  • Antibiotics or antifungal medicines;

  • Hormonal replacement therapy or birth control pills

  • You can take insulin or diabetes medication by mouth.

  • Medicine to treat Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson’s disease

  • A blood thinner—warfarin, Coumadin, or Jantoven

  • Nsaids are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications. These include aspirin, naproxen, celecoxib (Aleve), diclofenac (Advil), indomethacin (Indomethacin), and meloxicam (Meloxicam).
