Magnesium is a natural mineral that occurs naturally. Pedia-Lax Chewable lowers stomach acid and boosts the amount of water that is absorbed by the intestines, which can trigger bowel movements.

Pedia-Lax Chewable can be used as a laxative that relieves occasional constipation.Pedia-Lax Chewable can also be used as an antacid for relieving acidity, stomach sourness, and stomach ulcers.Pedia-Lax Chewable could be used for other purposes not covered in this medication guide.

Side effects of Pedia-Lax chewable

See a doctor immediately. Get medical attention immediately if you notice symptoms that indicate an allergic reaction, like hives, trouble breathing, and swelling of your lips, face, and tongue.

Pedia-Lax Chewables may cause serious side effects. Do not use Pedia-Lax immediately and contact your physician immediately in the event that you experience:

  • Severe nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea;
  • There is no bowel movement after taking the medication as a laxative.
  • Bleeding from the rectal
  • The symptoms are getting worse.

Common negative side effects of Pedia-Lax chewable include:

How to take Pedia-Lax chewable?

Follow the instructions on the label exactly or as directed by your physician.

Make sure to measure the liquid medicine with care. Use the dosing needle provided or a dose-measuring device (not the kitchen spoon).It may be necessary to shake the suspension prior to each use.It is important to chew the tablet thoroughly before you take it in.Drink this medicine in an entire glass (8 ounces) of drinking water.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Since Pedia-Lax Chewable should only be used in emergencies, it is possible that you are not following a regular dosing regimen. Do not miss any doses in the event that it's nearing the time to take the next dose. Don't take two doses at once.

Overdose symptoms can include extreme diarrhea, muscle weakening, breath shortness, and little or no urine.
