What is Drizalma Sprinkle?

Drizalma Sprinkle (SNRI) is a serotonin- and norepinephrine reuptake inhibition antidepressant. Drizalma sprinkle is used to treat depressive disorder among adults. This medicine can also be used to treat anxiety disorders among adults and children aged at least seven years. Drizalma Sprinkle can also be used to treat chronic pain in the muscles or joints of adults, such as low back pain or osteoarthritis. Duloxetine is also used in some brands to treat fibromyalgia, a chronic disease. Drizalma can only be used to treat fibromyalgia in adults. Children and adults over 13 years of age can be treated with Cymbalta for fibromyalgia. Drizalma sprinkle can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side Effects of Drizalma Sprinkle

If you experience symptoms of an allergic response (hives or difficulty breathing, swelling on your face or in your throat), or a severe reaction to the skin (fever or sore throat with burning eyes or skin, blistering or peeling skin, or red or purple rash), seek emergency medical attention. Tell your doctor if there are any sudden or new changes in mood, behavior, or feelings, such as new or worse depression, anxiety, attacks of panic, or trouble sleeping. Also, tell them if you're feeling impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, or more active.

Drizalma sprinkles can cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • If you feel your heart pounding or fluttering, then it is time to seek medical attention.
  • A feeling of lightheadedness, as if you could pass out.
  • Easy bruising and unusual bleeding
  • Vision changes
  • Urination that is painful or difficult
  • Liver problems—right-sided upper stomach pain, itching, dark urine, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes);
  • Low blood sodium can cause headaches, memory problems, confusion, and weakness.
  • Manic episodes: racing thoughts, increased energy and decreased sleep need, risk-taking behavior, being agitated, or being talkative.

If you experience symptoms of serotonin disorder, including: agitation or hallucinations; rapid heartbeat; muscle stiffness and twitching; and loss of coordination,

Drizalma Sprinkle can cause the following side effects:

  • Drowsiness;
  • Constipation and nausea are both symptoms of a loss of appetite.
  • Dry mouth
  • Increased sweating

Warnings

Suicidal thoughts can occur in people with mental illness or depression. When first taking depression medication, some young people experience increased suicidal feelings. Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to Drizalma sprinkle, do not use it. Drizalma sprinkle should not be taken within 5 days of using an MAO inhibitor such as isocarboxazid or linezolid. It is possible that dangerous drug interactions may occur. Inform your doctor if other medications are being taken, such as stimulant medicines, opioids, herbal supplements, or medication for mental illness, Parkinson’s disease, or migraine headaches. A serious condition known as serotonin syndrome could be caused by an interaction with Drizalma sprinkle. No one under the age of 7 is allowed to use this product.

Tell your doctor about any of the following:

  • Heart problems High blood pressure
  • Liver or kidney disease
  • Slow digestion;
  • A seizure;
  • Bleeding problems
  • Sexual problems
  • Narrow-angle glaucoma;
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Drug addiction Suicidal thoughts
  • If you consume large quantities of alcohol,

Suicidal thoughts can occur in people with mental illness or depression. When first taking depression medication, some young people experience increased suicidal feelings. Be alert to any changes in your mood or symptoms. You and your family members should be on the lookout for any sudden changes in behavior. Drizalma sprinkle can harm your baby during pregnancy, but it may be dangerous for you to stop taking the medication. Never start or stop Drizalma Sprinkle before consulting your doctor. You may find your name on a registry if you're pregnant to track duloxetine's effects on the child. Tell your doctor if the baby is drowsy, has feeding problems, or shows slow weight gain.

How to take Drizalma Sprinkle ?

Read all the instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow the directions. Sometimes, your doctor will change the dose. You must take the medication exactly as it is prescribed. Drizalma sprinkles taken in higher doses or more frequently than prescribed by a doctor will not be more effective and could increase side effects. Do not open, crush, chew, or break the capsule. Take it with or without food. You will need to check your blood pressure often. If you notice any changes in your sexual function (such as a loss of interest in sex or difficulty having an orgasm), or if men experience problems with erections or ejaculation, tell your doctor. Certain sexual problems are treatable. You may experience symptoms for up to four weeks. Stopping Drizalma Sprinkle abruptly can cause unpleasant symptoms, such as agitation or confusion, or tingling, electric shock-like feelings. Before stopping the medication, consult your doctor. Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If you are almost due for your next dose, skip the missed one. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.

What happens if I overdose?

Call 1-800-222-1222 for poison help or seek immediate medical attention. Overdose symptoms include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness or sleepiness, seizures, rapid heartbeats, or fainting.

What should be avoided?

Ask your doctor if you should take NSAIDs such as Advil, ibuprofen, or naproxen. Taking an NSAID along with Drizalma sprinkle may cause you to bruise or bleed easily. Drizalma sprinkles can cause you to feel dizzy or drowsy. Avoid driving and other hazardous activities until you are sure how they will affect you. Dizziness and drowsiness may cause accidents or serious injuries. You may get dizzy if you stand up quickly from a seated or lying position. Drinking alcohol can increase your risk for liver damage, particularly if you are taking Drizalma.

Interaction with other drug

It is sometimes not safe to take certain medications together. Some drugs may affect the blood levels of the drugs that you are taking, causing side effects or making them less effective. Drizalma sprinkle can be affected by many drugs. Included are prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. This list does not include all possible interactions.
