What is an Avedana pain-relieving roll-on?

Avedana Pain Relieving Roller On (for skin) is an Avedana combination product used to relieve itch, minor muscular pain, or joint pain. This product can also be used to relieve symptoms of the common flu.Avedana pain-relieving rolls may be used in other ways not mentioned in this medication guide.

Side effects of Avendana pain-relieving roll-on

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Avedana pain-relieving roll-ons may cause serious side effects. Call your doctor immediately if:

  • The medicine may cause severe irritation, burning, or stinging where it is applied.
  • This medicine can cause breathing problems when used on the chest.

If you have sensitive skin, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Avedana Roll-On Pain Relieving is safe for use.This medicine should not be used on a child or baby without consulting your doctor.Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or nursing.Avoid applying this medication to the nipple region if you are breastfeeding.

How to take Avedana pain-relieving roll-on?

Please read and follow all instructions for use that come with your medication. If you don't understand the instructions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.Apply the medication to a small area of skin to see how it reacts.Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Apply only to the skin. Do not use on open wounds, sunburnt or windburned skin, or dry, irritated, or itchy skin.After applying the medicine, wash your hands.Menthol and camphor can cause a mild burning or cold sensation. This should diminish over time as you continue to use these products. If the sensation is severe, wash your skin with soap and warm water.Avoid covering the treated skin with a heating pad or a bandage.This medicine should not be applied within 30 minutes of taking a shower or bath.If your symptoms don't improve within 7 days, or you have a temperature, a headache, or a skin eruption, call your doctor. Call your doctor if pain persists or if it disappears and returns within a couple of days.Store away from moisture or heat at room temperature. Store away from direct sunlight. Store away from heat or open flames. Empty canisters should not be punctured or burned.

What happens if I miss the dose?

The dosage of camphor and menthol depends on the need and is not set daily. Use the product only as directed on the packaging.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of Avedana Pain Relief Roll-On are not considered dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medicine, seek emergency medical care or call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222.

Avoid getting this medicine into your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse with water if you do.
