Visine advanced relief (for the eyes) relieves eye irritations such as redness and dryness while protecting the eyes against further irritation.

Side effects of Visine advanced relief

If you experience any of the following signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of lips, face, tongue or throat and/or difficulty swallowing

Visine advanced relief can cause serious side effects. Visine advanced relief should be stopped immediately, and you should consult your doctor if:

  • Eye pain
  • Vision changes
  • If you experience eye irritation or redness that persists for more than 72 hours, it is considered a serious condition.
  • New or worsening symptoms of the eye.

Visine advanced relief may cause the following side effects:

  • Dilated pupils can cause blurred vision or make your eyes more sensitive to light.

This medicine should not be given to children younger than six years of age without consulting a doctor.consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or nursing.

How to take Visine advanced relief?

Follow the instructions on the label or those prescribed by your doctor.use only when wearing soft lenses. This medicine contains a preservative that could permanently stain lenses. Use the medication at least 15 minutes prior to inserting your contacts.before using eye medications, wash your hands.

Applying eye drops is as simple as tilting your head back and pulling down your lower eyelid. Squeeze a few drops into the pocket created by holding the dropper over the eye. Close your eyes for a minute or two.only use the recommended number of drops on the label.

Avoid touching the tip or placing it directly on your eye. If the dropper is contaminated, it can cause serious vision problems.if the medication has become cloudy or changed color, do not use it.storing this medication upright at room temperature is recommended. Do not freeze.

What happens if i miss the dose?

Visine advanced relief can be used as needed. You may not have a schedule for dosing. Visine advanced relief should not be used more than four times per day. Use only one dose at a time.

What happens if i overdose?

Overdoses of povidone or tetrahydrozoline ophthalmic are not dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, call 1-800-222-1222 or seek emergency medical care.

What should be avoided?

You should only use eye drops prescribed by your doctor.

Interaction with other drug

Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine used on your eyes. Many drugs interact with each other. Inform your healthcare provider about the medicines you take, including over-the-counter and prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
