What is Vegzelma?

Vegzelma can be used by adults either on its own or together with treatments for cancer. It is used in combination with other therapies to deal with specific types of brain tumors and certain kinds of kidney cancer in the liver, lung, colon, rectum, ovary, cervix, or fallopian tube.

Vegzelma can also be used to treat cancers of the membrane that lines the internal organs within the abdomen. It is typically prescribed as a component of a mix of chemotherapy drugs.Veg Zelma can also be used for reasons not mentioned in this guideline.

Side effects of Vegzelma

See a doctor immediately. If you notice symptoms or warning signs of an allergic reaction that include hives, trouble breathing, and swelling of your lips, face, and tongue,There are some side effects that can happen when you inject. Inform your physician immediately if you experience fainting, dizziness, lightheadedness, and sweating, or if you experience headaches, chest tightness, back discomfort, breathing problems, or swelling on your face.

Warnings

Vegzelma could make it easier to bleed. Make sure to seek medical attention in an emergency in the event of bleeding that doesn't stop. The bleeding could also occur inside your body.

Before you take this drug

It is possible that you will not be able to take Vegzelma in the event that you are treated with other cancer medications like doxorubicin, daunorubicin, or have had

  • Ovarian cancer that manifests as severe stomach pain or pelvic pain
  • The slow process of healing a wound or surgical incision
  • Surgery in the last four weeks (28 days);
  • You are planning to undergo surgery within the next four days (28 days) or
  • Vomit or bloody vomit that resembles coffee grounds

Inform your doctor if you have ever experienced:

  • Diabetes;
  • Heart issues, such as heart attacks, strokes, blood clots, or blood clotting disorders;
  • High blood pressure;
  • Bleeding issues or a perforation (a tear or a hole) inside your esophagus, stomach, or intestines
  • Kidney disease.

Could harm the unborn baby.Do not take this medication when pregnant. You might need pregnancy tests to be sure that you're not pregnant. Utilize the most effective contraception during the use of Veg Zelma and for a minimum of 6 months after the last dose. Inform your doctor immediately when you fall pregnant.

How to take Vegzelma?

Vegzelma is administered in the form of an injection into the vein. Your healthcare professional will offer the injection.Contact your healthcare provider immediately when you are feeling dizzy, nauseated, lightheaded, sweaty, short of breath, headache, or chest pain after the injection.Veg Zelma is typically given at least once every 2 or 3 weeks.
