Prior to use this drug

The use of senosol-SS is not recommended in cases where you are allergic to senna or docusate or if you're using mineral oils.

Consult a pharmacist or doctor for a recommendation on whether this medicine is suitable for you if you previously had:

  • Nausea or vomiting;
  • Stomach pain;
  • An abrupt change in the bowel habits of a person lasting for two weeks or more;
  • An intestinal disorder, such as Crohn's disease, as well as ulcerative colitis.

Avoid giving this medication to children younger than 2 years old unless you have medical guidance.

How to take Senosol-SS?

Follow exactly the instructions on the label or as directed by your physician.Use senosol-SS in conjunction with a large bottle of water.It's best to take this medication in the evening or before bedtime. Senosol SS is likely to cause you to experience bowel movements in the space of 6–12 hours.

Don't take senosol-SS for more than 7 consecutive days unless your physician tells you to.Contact your doctor if constipation doesn't improve or worsens after using senosol-SS.Place it in a cool, dry place far from heat and moisture.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Because senosol-SS is only used when it is needed, you may not be following a dose schedule. Don't miss any doses missed when it's time to take the next dose. Do not take two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

Get medical attention in an emergency or contact the poison help line at 1-800-222-1222.The symptoms of an overdose can include vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, and diarrhea.

What should be avoided?
