What is Senexon-S?

Docusate is a stool softener. Senna can be used as an effective laxative.Senexon-S can be described as an ointment or combination medicine that is used to treat occasional constipation.Senexon-S could also be utilized for other purposes that are not covered in this medication guide.

Side effects of Senexon-S

Seek medical attention immediately in the event that you exhibit symptoms that indicate an allergy, such as symptoms of hives, breathing difficulties, or swelling of your lips, face, and tongue.

Senexon-S could cause severe adverse effects. Stop using Senexon-S immediately, and contact your doctor immediately in case you experience:

  • Rectal bleeding from the rectal
  • Severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting,
  • No bowel movement.

Common adverse effects of Senexon-S could include:

  • Gas, bloating;
  • Diarrhea;
  • Mild nausea.

Prior to use this drug

It is not recommended to use Senexon-S in case you are allergic to senna or docusate or are already taking mineral oils.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist to determine if this medication is safe to use if you have ever used:

  • Nausea or vomiting;
  • Stomach pain;
  • An abrupt change in the bowel habits of a person lasting for two weeks or more;
  • An intestinal disorder, such as Crohn's disease, as well as ulcerative colitis.

Talk to your doctor prior to taking this medication if you are breastfeeding or pregnant.Don't give the medication to children younger than 2 years old unless you have medical guidance.

How to take Senexon-S?

Follow the directions on the label or as directed by your physician.Take Senexon S with a full bottle of drinking water.It's best to take this medication during the night or just before bedtime. Senexon-S will cause you to experience an intestinal movement within six to twelve hours.Don't take Senexon-S for more than 7 days consecutively, unless your physician tells you to.

Consult your physician if your constipation persists or gets worse after using Senexon-S.Keep it at room temperature, free of heat and moisture.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Because Senexon-S is only used for emergencies, you might not be on a regular dosing schedule. Do not miss any doses in the event that it's nearing the time to get the next dose. Don't take two doses at once.

What happens if I overdose?

For medical emergencies, seek emergency medical assistance immediately or contact the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222 for assistance.
