How to take Secnidazole?

2 g taken orally every time
Use: To treat bacterial Vaginosis for females
Usual Adult Dose for Trichomoniasis:
2 g taken orally every time
Comments:
Sexual partners of patients with trichomoniasis must be treated with the same dosage simultaneously to avoid reinfection since the condition trichomoniasis is an infection that is transmitted sexually and has possible serious repercussions.
Use: In the treatment of trichomoniasis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis
Usual Pediatric Dose for Bacterial Vaginosis:
12 years old or older: 2 grams orally at least once
Use: To treat bacterial vaginosis among female patients
Usual Pediatric Dose for Trichomoniasis:
12 years old or older: 2 g taken orally at least once

What happens if I miss the dose?
Since secnidazole can be used in a single dose, it doesn't require a daily dosage schedule.
