What is Sea Soft Nasal?

There are numerous kinds and brands of sodium chloride nasals that are available. Some brands are not included in this leaflet.Sea Soft (for use in the nose) is used to treat nasal congestion, post-nasal drip dryness of the nasal passages and nose, or irritation of the nose due to allergies, colds, the flu, allergies, or pollution.

The product contains a pure, mild salt solution (also known as saline). It doesn't contain any active substances or medications.Sea Soft may also be used for reasons not mentioned in this guideline for medication.

Side effects of Sea Soft Nasal

See a doctor immediately. Get medical attention immediately if you notice symptoms or warning signs of an allergic response, such as symptoms of hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of your lips, face, and throat.

The less serious side effects could be more likely, or there may be no side effects whatsoever.This is not a comprehensive list of all side effects. Others could happen. Contact your physician for advice regarding medical effects. You can report any side effects to the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.

How to take Sea Soft Nasal?

Follow the directions on the label or as recommended by your physician.Always read the instructions on the label for the use of this product with children.Don't take them by the mouth. Nasal products should be used only for the nose.Sea Soft is available in several forms, like a spray, gel swab, or powder that can be blended with water to be used for nasal rinses.

Take note of and follow the instructions for use that come with the product you purchase. Consult your physician or pharmacist for clarification if you are unsure of these directions.You might need to blow your nose prior to making use of this product.If you've put the tip of the spray bottle into your nose, wash your nose with warm water, then dry with a clean, soft tissue following use.

Certain nasal spray bottles give the product an aerosol when you hold the bottle in an upright position or in drop form when you flip upside down the bottle.If the directions are on the label on the product, clean the tip of the bottle using a tissue that is clean after every use.

Contact your physician to see if the problem you're taking care of with Sea Soft does not improve or gets worse when you use this product.Follow the directions on the label for when you should replace Sea Soft. It may be necessary to dispose of the container once a certain period of time has passed, even if a small amount of the remaining product remains in it.Store it somewhere at room temp, clear of moisture and heat.

If the nasal spray comes in a spray bottle, be sure to keep it away from flames and excessive temperatures. The canister could explode if it is too hot. Don't puncture or burn the empty canister of nasal spray.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Because Sea Soft Nasal is used in the event of need, you might not be on a regular dosing schedule. Do not miss any doses in the event that it's nearing the time to take the next dose. Don't use two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

An overdose of sodium chloride nasal solution is not likely to pose a risk. Take immediate medical attention or contact the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222 if you have accidentally swallowed the substance.

What should be avoided?

Do not get Sea Soft in your eyes.

Beware of sharing nasal sprays with people you know. The sharing of a spray bottle or applicator put into the nose may let infections or diseases spread from one person to the next.

Interaction with other drugs

Because Sea Soft does not contain any active medication and isn't a drug, it's unlikely to be affected by any other medication that you are taking. However, there are many drugs that interact with each other. Inform your health care providers about the medications you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal remedies.
