What is Revcovi?

Revcovi, a synthetic version of adenosine deaminase, is a form of the enzyme. ADA helps to prevent the accumulation of proteins that are harmful to white blood cells, which help the body fight infection.Revcovi can be used to replace ADA for adults and children who have severe combined immunodeficiency due to adenosine-deaminase (ADA).ADA-SCID occurs when a person's immune system is not able to fight off infections that would normally cause them illness. Certain infections, such as pneumonia, chronic diarrhea, or a serious skin rash, can be fatal or cause serious illness in people with ADA SCID.ADA-SCID may also affect the growth and development of a child or infant.Revco I can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Revcovi

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Revcovi can cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • Bleeding where the medicine has been injected
  • Other unusual bleeding (nosebleeds or bleeding gums)
  • A seizure; or
  • Dark urine, pale or yellowed skin,
  • Confidence or weakness.

How to take Revcovi?
