
What is MetroLotion?
Use MetroLotion for the Skin to treat lesions of the skin caused by Rosacea. MetroLotion can be used in other ways not mentioned in the medication guide.
MetroLotion side effects
If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergy: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling in your lips, face, throat, or tongue
MetroLotion can cause severe side effects. If you experience:
- You may experience tingling or burning in the hands and feet.
- MetroLotion can cause stinging and burning.
MetroLotion can cause the following side effects:
- Burning or stinging
- Skin redness and irritation
- Itchy, dry, or scaly skin
- Sore or stuffy throat.

Warnings
Please read all the instructions on the label or package of your medication. Inform your doctors about your allergies and medical conditions. Also, tell them which medicines you are using.
Before you take this drug
If you have an allergy to MetroLotion, then it is best not to use this product.
If you've ever:
- A disorder of the nervous system.
MetroLotion is not known to cause harm to an unborn child. Inform your doctor immediately if you plan to get pregnant. MetroLotion should not be used while breastfeeding. MetroLotion should not be used by those under the age of 18.
How to take MetroLotion?
Read all the instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all the directions. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. MetroLotion should be applied after washing and drying your skin. The medication should be applied in a thin, even layer. Rub it in thoroughly. MetroLotion can be used with cosmetics. MetroLotion should not be used to treat skin conditions that have not been examined by your physician. Even if you feel better quickly, continue to take this medication for as long as it is prescribed. You can get infections if you skip doses. If your symptoms don't improve or worsen while you are using MetroLotion, call your doctor. Keep away from heat or moisture.
What happens if I miss the dose?
If you are almost due for the next dose, skip the dose that was missed. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.
What happens if I overdose?
Metrolotion overdoses are not dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, seek emergency medical care or contact the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222.
What should be avoided?
MetroLotion should not be used on the vagina. MetroLotion can cause eye irritation.
Interaction with other drug
Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine applied to your skin. Many drugs interact. Inform your health care providers of all the medicines that you take, including prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbs.
