What is M-End DMX?

M-End DMX is a medication that is used to treat symptoms that are as a result of a cold, allergy or flu. It contains three active ingredients:

  • Dexbrompheniramine: An antihistamine that helps to minimize sneezing, itching, and a runny nose.

  • Dextromethorphan: A cough medicine that works on the signals in the brain that cause coughing.

  • Pseudoephedrine: A nasal decongestant that reduces the size of blood vessels in the nasal passages to reduce congestion.

It does not help to clear the cough associated with smoking, chronic bronchitis or asthma. It may have other uses which are not mentioned in this guide.

Is M-End DMX a Controlled Substance?

M-End DMX is not classified as a controlled substance. However, it contains pseudoephedrine, which is regulated in some regions due to its potential misuse. Always purchase it through authorized channels and follow your doctor’s instructions.

M-End DMX Liquid

Side Effects of M-End DMX

  • The urination is difficult or painful, or there is little or no urination.

  • Pale skin, weakness or easy bruising, fever, chills, and body aches

  • Increased blood pressure can cause a severe headache, ringing in the ears, chest pain, shortness of breath, and irregular heartbeats.

Some of the side effects that M-End MX can cause include:

  • Dizziness, drowsiness, headache;

  • Constipation; upset stomach; loss of appetite

  • Double vision, blurred vision, and dry eyes are all symptoms of blurred vision.

  • Sleep problems (insomnia);

  • Dry mouth, nose, or throat.

Older adults may experience side effects like dry mouth, confusion, and constipation.

Warnings You Need to Know Before You Take This Drug

M-End DMX should not be used if MAO inhibitors have been taken in the last 14 days. Dangerous drug interactions may occur. MAO inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, and tranylcypromine.

Inform Your Physician About the Following Conditions:

  • Asthma, COPD, or a cough caused by mucus, smoking, or chronic lung disease.

  • Digestive tract blockages, such as in the stomach or intestines.

  • Heart disease or high blood pressure.

  • Liver or kidney disease.

  • Glaucoma.

  • Mucus-related coughs or coughs due to chronic bronchitis or emphysema.

  • Urination or prostate problems.

  • Pheochromocytoma.

  • Overactive thyroid.

Potassium Supplementation: If you are taking potassium-based medications like Cytra, Epiklor, K-Phos, Kaon, Klor-Con, Polycitra, or Urocit-K, inform your doctor.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: The FDA has classified M-End DMX as a pregnancy category C medication. This means its effects on an unborn child are not fully known. If you are pregnant, consult your doctor before using this medication.

Antihistamines and decongestants in this medication may pass into breast milk, potentially harming a nursing infant. They may also reduce breast milk production. Avoid using this medication while pregnant or nursing unless approved by your healthcare provider.

How to take M-End DMX?

Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration. Use the recommended dose and do not exceed it. Cold or cough medicine is typically taken for only a few days until symptoms disappear. This medication should not be given to children younger than four years of age. Ask a doctor first before giving cough and cold medications to children. Underage children as young as 4 years can die due to misusing cough medicines. Used a measuring cup or spoon for liquid medicines.

Consult your pharmacist if you don't own any device to measure doses accurately. Take your medications no more than seven days and check in with your physician if your symptoms fail to improve or you experience headache and fever symptoms.

What happens if I miss the dose?

What should be avoided?

Many combination medicines contain antihistamines or cough suppressants. You can get too much medication if you take certain products in combination.

Interaction with other drug
