What is Luxiq?

Betamethasone prevents substances from being released in the body that cause inflammation.The skin conditions eczema and psoriasis can cause inflammation and itching.Luxiq can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Luxiq

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Betamethasone can cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • The application of the medication may cause severe skin irritation.
  • Signs of Skin Infection

Topical steroids can be absorbed through the skin, causing side effects in other parts of the body. If you experience:

  • Blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain, or seeing halos around lights
  • Slow wound healing, thinned skin, increased body hair
  • Increased thirst or urination; dry mouth; fruity mouth odour
  • Weight gain can cause puffiness on your face.
  • Feeling irritable, muscle weakness, depression

Steroids can affect the growth of children. If your child's growth isn't normal while taking Luxiq, tell your doctor.

Side effects of Luxiq that may occur include:

  • Itching, redness, or blistering on the treated skin
  • Skin bruising or a shiny appearance
  • Folliculitis is the redness or crusting of the hair follicles.

Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to Luxiq, then it is best not to use the product.

Inform your physician of any of the following issues:

  • Skin irritation after using steroid medicine
  • Skin thinning where you plan to apply Luxiq
  • Glaucoma or cataracts
  • Diabetes;
  • Liver disease
  • Adrenal gland disorders;
  • Any type of skin disease.

This medicine is not known to harm an unborn child. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant.You may not be able to breastfeed your baby while taking this medication. You should ask your doctor if there are any risks. Avoid areas where the mouth of your baby may be in contact with betamethasone if you apply it to your chest.Never use Luxiq without consulting a doctor. Children are more likely to experience side effects because they absorb more of the medicine through their skin.Diprolene cannot be used by anyone under 13 years of age. Sernivo and Luxury is not recommended for those younger than 18 years.

How to take Luxiq?

Read and follow any instructions or guides provided with your medication.Follow the directions on the label.Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Use only on the skin. Do not apply to open wounds, sunburned or windburned skin, or dry, irritated, or itchy skin. If this medicine accidentally gets into your eyes or mouth, rinse with water.Please follow all instructions that accompany your medication carefully.If you don't understand the instructions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.You should wash your hands both before and after you use this medication, unless it is to treat your skin.Apply a small amount of Luxiq to the affected skin area. Rub it in gently. Avoid applying Luxiq to a large surface of skin.Your doctor must inform you if covering an area is necessary. Covering the treated area can increase the amount of medicine absorbed by your skin and cause adverse effects.Luxiq is best used regularly. Once your symptoms have cleared, stop using the medication.If your condition doesn't improve in 2 weeks or worsens, call your doctor.Diprolene should not be used for more than two consecutive weeks. Use Sernivo and Luxiq for no longer than four weeks.

Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.Foam can ignite. Keep away from open flames or high heat. Smoke only after the foam is completely dry.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If it is close to time for your next dose, skip any missed one and move directly on with taking what's due.Never apply two doses at once.

What happens if I overdose?

Should someone accidentally consume medication, emergency medical assistance must be sought immediately or call Poison Help immediately at 1-800-222-1222 for advice and support.The long-term use of high doses may cause thinning of the skin, easy bruises, changes in body weight (especially on your neck, face, back, and waist), acne or facial hair growth, menstrual issues, impotence, or loss of interest in sex.

What should be avoided?

Avoid getting Luxiq into your eyes. In the event that contact occurs, wash with water.Do not apply Luxiq to your face, your underarms, or your groyne without consulting your doctor.Use Luxiq only after consulting your doctor.

Interaction with other drug

Other medications you take shouldn't interfere with the cream applied topically. Many drugs interact with each other. Inform all healthcare providers of all the medications, vitamins, and herbal remedies you are currently taking - this includes vitamins, supplements and herbal products.
