Form of dosage: oral suspension (10 mg/mL).
Agents to treat pulmonary hypertension

What is Liqrev?

For pulmonary artery hypertension, Liqrev suspension (sildenafil) is used to improve the ability of adult patients to exercise as well as to delay any clinical worsening. Liqrev lowers the blood pressure and increases cardiac output by relaxing the blood vessel muscles.Liqrev, a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor (PDE-5), works by blocking PDE-5. Liqrev comes as an oral suspension, which is taken three times per day.Liqrev received FDA approval on April 28, 2023.Liqrev should not be taken if you regularly or occasionally take nitrate medicine. This can increase the risk of a serious and sudden drop in blood pressure. Some examples of nitrate medicines are nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, and "poppers".Some medicines may cause harmful or unwanted effects when combined with sildenafil. Inform your doctor of all the medications you are taking, including Riociguat and Adempas. If you experience a sudden loss of vision, stop using Liqrev immediately and seek emergency medical attention.
