What is LidoRxKit?

Lidocaine works as a local anesthetic. It blocks nerve signals within your body.LidoRxKit can be used to treat mouth sores, numb gums during dental care, or numbing of the mouth and throat prior to a surgical procedure.LidoRxKit is not recommended for the treatment of teething discomfort.LidoRxKit can be used in other ways than those listed in the medication guide.

Side effects of LidoRxKit

Seek immediate medical care if you have any of these symptoms: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling in your face, lips, throat, or tongue.

LidoRxKit may cause serious side effects. LidoRxKit should be stopped immediately, and you should consult your doctor if:

  • Sleepiness; depression; feeling confused, restless, or nervous.
  • Slow heart rate, weakness of slow breathing
  • Feeling light-headed, like you might pass out.
  • Feelings of numbness and coldness
  • Vomiting;
  • Blurred vision

Lidorxkit can have the following side effects:

  • Unusual or unpleasant taste or smell in the mouth
  • The medicine accidentally applied to the skin can cause numbness.

Before you take this drug

If you use more than recommended, this can lead to fatal side effects.LidoRxKit should not be used to treat teething in babies. Consult your doctor before giving any medication to relieve teething pain in children.LidoRxKit should not be used if you have an allergy to numbing medicines.

Tell your doctor about any of the following:

  • Liver disease
  • A serious heart condition, such as an "av block".
  • An allergic reaction to any drug;
  • Broken, swollen, or damaged gum or skin tissue.

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.The effects of this medication may be more pronounced in older adults.

How to take LidoRxKit?

Read all instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all instructions on the label. Follow the directions on the label.The improper use of lidocaine viscous can result in death.You must read all the instructions that are included with your medicine.. If you don't understand the instructions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.LidoRxKit can be applied using your fingertip, a cotton swab, or the applicator that comes with the medicine.Do not use more than the minimum amount required to relieve or numb pain. Use only a small amount of viscous lidocaine.Do not swallow the medicine when applying it to the gums or inside your mouth.

You may be able to absob LidoRxKit more if you:

  • You use too much.
  • You should swallow the medication.
  • You can apply the medication to gum tissue that is cut, irritated, or inflamed.
  • You can apply heat to the treated area.

Eat nothing for 1 hour following the use of this medicine in your mouth or throat. Choking and difficulty swallowing may occur, particularly in children.Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

You may not have a schedule for lidocaine topical because it is applied as needed. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip any missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

LidoRxKit will not be affected by any other medications you take. Many drugs interact with each other. Inform your healthcare providers of all medications you take, including vitamins and herbal supplements.
