What is Glycerin and witch hazel topical?

Glycerin and witch hazel (for skin) are used as a combination to treat hemorrhoids. The glycerin-witch hazel topical is not intended to treat hemorrhoids. It will relieve their symptoms.This medication guide does not list all possible uses for glycerin-witch hazel topical.

Adult dosage for haemorrhoids:Apply gently to affected areas by patting, and discard. Use up to six times per day, or immediately after each bowel motion.The usual paediatric dose for haemorrhoidsTwelve years of age or older

What happens if I miss the dose?

You may not have a schedule for glycerin or witch hazel topical because it is only used as needed. If it is almost time to take your next dose, skip any missed doses. Never take two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of witch hazel and glycerin topicals are not dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medicine, call 1-800-222-1222 or seek emergency medical care.

What should be avoided?

Do not get glycerin or witch hazel topical into your eyes.

Interaction with other drug
