What is GlutaSolve?

Glutasolve, an amino acid, affects the growth and functions of the cells of the intestines and stomach.GlutaSolve is a medical product for supplementing dietary sources of glutamine. GlutaSolve can be used to treat glutamine deficiency or loss due to injury or illness.GlutaSolve can also be used with human growth hormone in order to treat short-bowel syndrome.GlutaSolve can be used in other ways not mentioned in the medication guide.

Side effects of GlutaSolve

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergy reaction, seek immediate medical attention: Hives, difficulty breathing, swelling in your lips, face, throat, or tongue

GlutaSolve can cause severe side effects. Contact your doctor immediately if:

  • Chest pain;
  • Hearing problems or other hearing disorders
  • Signs of infection include fever and chills.

Some of the side effects that glutasolve can cause include:

  • Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, gas;
  • You may experience swelling in your feet or hands.
  • Back pain or joint pain?
  • Dizziness and headache;
  • Mild itching, or mild rash.
  • Runny nasal.

Before you take this drug

Tell your doctor about any of the following to ensure that GlutaSolve will be safe for you:

  • Liver diseases
  • Kidney disease is a serious condition.

FDA pregnancy class CThere is no information on whether GlutaSolve can harm an unborn child. If you're pregnant, do not take GlutaSolve unless your doctor has prescribed it.There is no way to know if glutamine can pass into breast milk or harm nursing babies. If you're breastfeeding, do not take this medication without consulting your doctor.

How to take GlutaSolve?

Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration. Use the recommended dose and do not exceed it.You may have to take GlutaSolve six times a day for as long as 16 weeks.GlutaSolve can be taken as often or as little per day, depending on your needs. Follow your doctor's advice.If not directed to do so, take GlutaSolve oral powder along with your meal or snack.Take tablets at least an hour before or two hours after eating.You can dissolve your oral glutamine powder dose in 8 ounces or more of liquid, hot or cold. The powder can also be mixed with soft foods such as yoghurt, pudding, or applesauce. Mix the powder with a soft food such as pudding, applesauce, or yoghurt.GlutaSolve dry powder should not be poured directly into tube-feeding formulas. Mix the powder and water together, then inject it into the tube feeding formula using a syringe.You may require frequent urine or blood tests while using GlutaSolve.The GlutaSolve treatment may only be part of an overall programme that includes a tube-feeding regimen, IV fluids, and a special dietary plan. You should follow your doctor's or nutritionist's diet and medication recommendations.Keep away from heat and moisture. Store each oral powder dose in the packet until you are ready to take the medication.

What happens if I miss the dose?

As soon as possible, take the missed dose.If it is close to time for your next dose, make a note to skip it altogether and adjust accordingly. You should not take more medicine to compensate for a missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

A GlutaSolve overdose is unlikely to cause life-threatening effects.

What should be avoided?

If your physician prescribes restrictions regarding food, beverages or activities for you to engage in, be sure to follow their directions accordingly.

Interaction with other drug

Other medications, such as vitamin and herb products, may also interact with glutamine. Inform your healthcare providers of all the medicines that you are currently taking and those you plan to start using.
