What is Fungi-Nail?

Undecylenic acid works by preventing the growth of fungus on your skin. Fungi nail (for skin) treats skin infections caused by fungi such as athletes foot jock itch or ringworm. This medication guide does not list all possible uses of fungi nail.

Side effects of Fungi-Nail

If you experience any of the following signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction: difficulty breathing, hives or swelling to your lips or throat - please seek medical assistance immediately!

Fungi-nail may cause serious side effects. Fungi-Nail should be stopped immediately, and you should consult your doctor if:

  • The skin may be irritated or burn severely.
  • Any new skin symptoms.

Fungi-nail can cause a variety of side effects.

  • Itching of the treated skin

Before you take this drug

Fungi-Nail should not be used if you have an allergy to it. If you have sensitive or allergic skin, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether fungi nail can be used. Do not administer this medicine to an infant without consulting a doctor. Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to take Fungi-Nail?

Acknowledging any instructions provided on your label or from a physician. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Only use the fungi-nail formula that is made for the area of the body you are treating, such as the feet, the groin, or the nails. If you don't use the right formulation, this medicine won't work. Fungi-Nail should only be used by an adult. After using the medicine, wash your hands. Apply the medication to your feet in all areas, including between your toes. Covering treated skin with bandages is not recommended. To protect your clothes, you can cover the treated skin with cotton gauze. Wear loose clothing made of natural fibers like cotton until your infection has cleared up. Wear loose cotton clothing or other natural fibers to keep the infection from spreading.

While treating athletes' feet, you should change your socks and shoes at least daily. If your symptoms persist after four weeks of treatment, call your doctor. Even if you feel better quickly, continue to take this medication for the prescribed time. Store at room temperature and protect from moisture and heat by keeping in an airtight container, free from moisture or heat.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If you are close to your next dose, skip the missed dose. Never apply two doses at once.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of fungi-nail are not considered dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, seek emergency medical care or call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222.

What should be avoided?

Avoid getting fungi-nail into your eyes. Rinse with water if you do.

Interaction with other drug

Drugs you take will unlikely interfere with any topical medication applied directly to the skin.Many drugs interact with each other. Inform your healthcare providers of all the medicines you take, including over-the-counter and prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
