Cough, nausea, and diarrhea. Flu can cause sinus infections and ear infections. It may also lead to bronchitis or more serious complications, like pneumonia. Influenza is responsible for thousands of deaths and hospitalizations each year. The information in this medication guide is only for the injectable version of this vaccine. Fluad Quadrivalent 2023-2024, like any other vaccine, may not protect everyone from illness.
