What is Firvanq?

Firvanq can be described as an antibiotic. Ingestion (taken in the mouth): the medicine fights bacterial infections in the intestines. Firvanq is a treatment for an inflammation that affects the digestive tract and is caused by Clostridium difficile. It may cause bloody or swollen diarrhea. The medicine can also be used to treat staph infections, which may cause inflammation of the small and colon intestines as well. Oral Firvanq only works in the intestines. It is not usually in the body. Firvanq is not able to treat other kinds of infections. A form of injection that contains vancomycin is used to treat serious infections in different organs.
