What is Fenoglide?
Fenoglide is a medication that helps lower cholesterol levels as well as triglycerides (fatty acids) in the blood. The presence of high levels of these kinds of fats in the blood can lead to a higher chance of atherosclerosis (clogged blood vessels). Side effects of Fenoglide

Warnings

Before you take this drug

Do not breastfeed when taking this medicine, and at least five days after the last dose,

- Liver disease or
- Gallbladder-related problems.
Fenoglide is known to cause the breakdown of muscles, which could result in kidney failure. This is more frequent for women, especially in older people, or in those with renal disease, diabetic issues, or hypothyroidism poorly controlled (underactive thyroid).
It is unclear if this medicine could affect a newborn baby. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to be pregnant.
Fenoglide is not a prescription drug to be used by anyone younger than 18 years old.
How to take Fenoglide?
Follow all the instructions on the prescription label and go through all medication guides or instructions sheets. Your doctor may change the dosage. Make sure you take the medicine exactly as prescribed.

What should be avoided?
Do not eat foods that have high levels of cholesterol or fat, as fenoglide may not be as effective.

Interaction with other drugs
Certain medicines may make fenoglide less effective when taken simultaneously. If you are taking any of the following medications, you should take this dose an hour prior to or up to 4 hours after taking the other medication.
