What is Ecotrin?

Ecotrin is a salicylate (sa-LIS-il-ate), which is utilised to treat pain and also to lower the severity of fever or inflammation.

Warnings

Ecotrin may cause Reye's syndrome, which is a serious and often fatal disease for children.

Prior to use this drug

How to Take Ecotrin?

What should be avoided?

Avoid alcohol. Drinking heavily can increase the chance of bleeding from your stomach.Do not take Ibuprofen in the event that you take Ecotrin to avoid heart attack as well as coronary heart attack. Ibuprofen may make this medication less efficient at protecting your blood vessels and heart. Ask your doctor about the distance between your doses.Consult a physician or pharmacist prior to using any other medications for swelling, pain, fever, or cold or flu symptoms.
