What is Diurex Water Capsules?

Diurex water capsules are diuretics (water pills). It increases urination. Diurex Water Capsules are used to treat water weight gain, bloating, and swelling. Diurex water capsules can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side Effects of Diurex Water Capsules

If you experience symptoms indicative of an allergic reaction, seek medical assistance immediately: hives, difficulty breathing or swelling to lips, face, tongue or throat.

Some of the most common side effects associated with Diurex Water Capsules include:

  • Gold-colored urine is a side effect that can be caused by Diurex Water Capsules. It's not a cause for alarm.

Before you take this drug

Diurex Water Capsules should not be used if you have an allergy to them or are unable to urinate.

If you suffer from another medical condition, such as:

  • Kidney disease
  • Heart disease
  • High blood pressure.

Diurex water capsules are not known to harm an unborn child. If you are pregnant, do not take this medication without consulting your doctor. Pamabrom does not pass into breast milk. It is also unknown if the medicine could harm a baby who was nursing. If you are breastfeeding a child, do not take this medication without consulting your doctor. Do not administer this medicine without consulting a doctor.

How to take Diurex Water Capsules?

Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration. Use the recommended dose and do not exceed it. Start taking Diurex water capsules at least 5 to 6 days prior to your period. Continue to use the medication until symptoms are relieved or your period is over. Take no more than four doses within 24 hours. Diurex Water Capsules should be taken with 6–8 glasses of water per day. Diurex water capsules may cause you to urinate a lot more than normal. This is an indication that the medication is working. If your symptoms don't improve within 10 days, stop taking Diurex water capsules. Call your doctor. Store away from moisture or heat at room temperature. Remove the blister until you're ready to use the medicine.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Diurex water capsules are used as needed and may not have a schedule. If you have a regular schedule, take the missed dose immediately after you remember. If your next scheduled dosage is approaching, skip the missed dose. You should not take extra medicine to compensate for a missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

What should be avoided?

If your doctor prescribes any restrictions regarding food, beverage, or activity, follow their instructions.

Interaction with other drug

Pamabrom may interact with other drugs, such as prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. Inform your healthcare providers of all the medicines you are taking and those you plan to take.
