Warnings

If you've taken an MAO-inhibitor in the last 14 days (such as isocarboxazid or linezolid), do not take this medication. Never use cold or cough medicine to put a child to sleep.

Before you take this drug

Dimetapp Cough and Cold Long-Acting is not recommended if MAO inhibitors have been used in the last 14 days. A dangerous medication interaction may occur. The MAO inhibitors are isocarboxazid (linezolid), methylene blue injection, phenelzine, and other drugs.

This medicine should be avoided if you have an allergy to dextromethorphan or chlorpheniramine.

If you suffer from:
