What is Cipro I.V.?

Cipro I.V. Cipro I.V. is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic (floro-KWINO-lone), which fights bacteria within the body. This medicine can be used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. This medicine can also be used to treat those who have been exposed to anthrax or certain types of plague. Fluoroquinolones may cause severe or permanent side effects. These side effects are not always reversible. Cipro I.V. Cipro IV should only be used for infections that cannot be treated by a safer anti-biotic. Cipro I.V. Side effects of Cipro I.V.

If you experience symptoms of an allergic response (hives or difficulty breathing, swelling on your face or in your throat) or a severe reaction to the skin (fever or sore throat with burning eyes, pain in your skin, a red or purple rash that is spreading and blistering, or skin that is swollen and rashes), seek emergency medical attention.

Stop using Cipro IV. Call your doctor immediately if:

  • Low blood sugar symptoms include headaches, sweating, or irritability. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, or feel anxious.
  • Nerve symptoms can include tingling or burning pain in the hands, feet, arms, and legs
  • Changes to mood or behavior (nervousness, etc.).confusion, agitation, paraoia, hallucinations, memory problems, trouble concentrating, thoughts of suicide; or
  • Signs of tendon rupture include sudden pain, swelling, bruises, tenderness, and stiffness. You may also experience movement issues or hear a popping or snapping sound.

In rare cases, Cipro IV In rare cases, Cipro IV If you experience severe pain in your back, chest, or stomach, seek emergency medical attention.

Stop using Cipro IV. Call your physician immediately if you experience:

  • Severe stomach pain and diarrhoea with blood or water
  • You may experience rapid or pounding pulses, fluttering of the chest, shortness of breath, and sudden dizziness.
  • Any skin rash;
  • Muscle weakness and breathing problems
  • Little or no urination
  • Jaundice (yellowing skin or eyes);
  • Increased pressure in the skull can cause severe headaches, ringing ears, nausea, dizziness, and vision problems.

Cipro I.V. Cipro I.V. side effects include:

  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea;
  • Rash;
  • Abnormal liver function tests

Warnings

Cipro I.V. Cipro IV can cause serious side effects, including nerve damage, mood or behavioural changes, or serious tendon problems. If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using this medication and contact your doctor immediately: headaches, nausea, irritability, or numbness; tingling or burning pain; confusion, agitation, or paranoia; Problems focusing or remembering; suicidal ideation or feelings of depression could indicate difficulty. Before you take this drug

Cipro I.V. should not be used if you are allergic to it. If you have an allergy to it or

  • You are also taking tizanidine.
  • You are allergic to any other fluoroquinolones.

Cipro I.V. Cipro I.V. This can occur during treatment or even up to several months after stopping the medicine. Tendon problems are more common in children, older adults, or those who have used steroid medicines or undergone a transplant.

Tell your doctor about any of the following:

  • Tendon problems, bone problems, or arthritis (especially in children)
  • Aneurysms, narrowing, or hardening of the arteries are all symptoms of blood circulation problems.
  • Heart problems High blood pressure
  • A genetic disorder such as Marfan syndrome or Ehlers-Danlos syndrome;
  • Diabetes;
  • A muscle or nerve disorder such as myasthenia gravis
  • Liver disease
  • Kidney disease
  • A seizure or head injury;
  • Long-QT syndrome
  • Low levels of magnesium or potassium in your blood (hypomagnesemia)

How to take Cipro I.V.?

Read all instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all directions. Follow the directions on the label. Cipro IV infusions are given into the vein. Your healthcare provider may give you your first dose and teach you how to use the medication properly. Follow all instructions for use that come with your medication. Cipro IV should not be used. If you do not understand the instructions, it is best to avoid using Cipro IV. If you have any questions, ask your pharmacist or doctor. Cipro I.V. Inject slowly over a period of at least 60 minutes. What should be avoided?

Caffeine can increase the effects of Cipro IV. Caffeine can enhance the effects. Antibiotics can cause diarrhea. This could be an indication of a new illness. Call your doctor if you have bloody or watery diarrhoea before taking anti-diarrhoea medication. Cipro I.V. Sunburn could be more likely if you take Cipro IV. Avoid tanning beds or sunlight. When you're outdoors, wear protective clothing and apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher). If you experience severe sunburn, redness, itchiness, rash, or swelling, tell your doctor. Cipro I.V. Cipro I.V. You could have impaired reactions.

Interaction with other drug

Tell your doctor about your other medications, including:

  • Theophylline or zolpidem can be used in conjunction with cyclosporine.
  • A blood thinner (warfarin; Coumadin; Jantoven);
  • A diuretic, or "water pill".
  • Heart rhythm medication
  • Insulin or oral diabetes medication (check your blood sugar regularly);
  • Medicine to treat mental illness or depression
  • Products with caffeine
  • Prednisone is a steroid medication.
  • Nsaids are nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs. Examples include ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib (Advil and Motrin), diclofenac (Indomethacin), meloxicam (Meloxicam), indomethacin (Indomethacin), and many others.
