What is Arthricare Cream?
The cream, Arthricare (for the face), is used to provide short-term relief from minor aches and pains that are caused by sprains, strains, arthritis, bruising painful nerves, and basic backaches or back pain.Arthritis cream can be used for other purposes not covered in this medication guide.

See a doctor immediately. If you are experiencing symptoms that indicate an allergic reaction, such as difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling of your lips, face, or tongue,
Arthritis cream can cause severe adverse consequences. Stop taking Arthricare Cream immediately and contact your doctor immediately in the event that you experience:
- The swelling or redness of the area being treated;
- More pain, increased pain
- Extreme skin irritation or burning, like severe skin irritation, such as an itchy rash, itching, blisters, or pain.

Before you take this drug
Consult a physician or pharmacist to determine if Arthricare Cream is safe to use if you have ever suffered from an allergic reaction (especially with aspirin or other salicylates).Talk to your doctor prior to taking this medicine if you are breastfeeding or pregnant.If you are breastfeeding, refrain from applying this medication to the nipple areas of your body.Do not take this medication for a child unless you have medical guidance.
How to take Arthricare Cream?
Follow exactly the instructions on the label or as directed by your doctor.Do not consume by mouth. The topical medication is intended for use only on the skin.Apply only to dry and clean skin. Avoid applying to large areas of the skin.Avoid applying to an open wound or skin that is burned, sunburned, blistered, or otherwise irritated.Only certain types of this medication are suitable for use with children under the age of Follow all directions when administering this medication to children.Apply a thin coating of medication to the area that is painful and gently rub it in.Place the patch of skin over the area that is hurting, and apply pressure to the edges. Take the patch off and put a new one on according to the instructions.Make sure to shake your spray thoroughly prior to every use.Cleanse your hands using soap and water following the application of this medication or handling a patch for your skin. To avoid the medication getting on your hands, apply it with gloves made of rubber, fingers, the cot, or a clean, dry tissue.If you're using the medication to treat a part of your fingers or hands, make sure you wait at least 30 minutes prior to washing your hands.Do not cover your area with a bandage heating pad.Stop taking this medication and consult your physician in the event that your pain doesn't improve after seven days, or if your symptoms become worse or improve, and return in for a few days.Store at room temperature, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Arthritis cream is used as required. If you're on a regular dosing regimen, do not miss any doses.Take only one dose at a time. Do not combine both pills at the same time.
What happens if I overdose?
For medical emergencies, seek emergency treatment or contact the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222 if you have accidentally swallowed the medication.
What should be avoided?
Beware of getting the Arthritis Cream within your eye. If contact occurs, then rinse your eyes with water. Avoid getting the medicine in your mouth, nose, vagina, rectum, or snout.Be sure to avoid taking the medicine on your contact lenses, dentures, or other devices that touch delicate areas of your body.Do not use other medications for the same area of treatment without a medical consultation.
Interaction with other drug
Skin care products are unlikely to have an effect on any other medications you take; however, there are many drugs that interact. Inform your doctor about all the medications you are currently taking, such as prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal remedies.
