It is believed that the Suprenza brand name has been removed from the U.S. If there are generic versions of this drug that were approved by the FDA, it is possible that there are substitutes that are similar to the original.

What is Suprenza?

Suprenza has some similarities to amphetamine. The medicine is a stimulant for your central nervous system (nerves and the brain), which can increase the heart rate and blood pressure and also reduce appetite. Suprenza is combined with exercise and diet to combat weight gain, particularly in those who have risk factors such as hypertension, high cholesterol, and diabetes. Suprenza is also employed for other purposes that are not covered in this medication guide.

Side effects of Suprenza

Warnings

It is not recommended to take Suprenza in the case of glaucoma, thyroid hyperactivity, serious heart issues, uncontrolled blood pressure, advanced coronary artery disease, extreme anxiety, or an addiction history to drugs.

Do not take this medication if you've used an MAO inhibitor within the last 14 days, for example, linezolid, isocarboxazid, Methylene Blue injection, phenelzine, selegiline, rasagiline, or tranylcypromine.

Before taking this medication

It is not recommended to use Suprenza if you are allergic to it or are suffering from

  • A background that suggests cardiovascular disease (coronary coronary artery diseases, cardiac rhythm issues, congestive heart disease, stroke);
  • Uncontrolled or severe high blood pressure
  • Thyroid hyperactive;
  • Glaucoma;
  • Extreme nervousness or agitation;
  • An history of substance use; or
  • If you also take another diet pill.

Do not take Suprenza if you've taken an MAO inhibitor within the past 14 days. A risky drug interaction may occur. MAO inhibitors are isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue injection, rasagiline, phenelzine, and tranylcypromine, among others.

Loss of weight during pregnancy may cause harm to the unborn baby, even if you're obese. Don't use Suprerenza when you are expecting. Tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant while receiving treatment. It is not recommended to breastfeed during the use of Suprenza.

Inform your doctor if you have ever suffered from:

  • Heart disease, also known as coronary artery disease,

How to take Suprema?

Suprenza is usually taken before breakfast or up to 2 hours after breakfast. Follow the instructions of your doctor for dosage with care. Suprenza is for short-term use only. The effects of reducing appetite may fade within a couple of weeks. Suprenza may be habit-forming. Intoxication can result in addiction, overdose, or even death. Selling or giving away Suprenza is a violation of the law. Contact your doctor immediately. If you suspect that this medication isn't working for you or if you haven't lost more than 4 pounds in four weeks, Don't stop taking Suprenza in a hurry; otherwise, you might experience painful withdrawal signs. Consult your physician about how to completely stop taking this medication. Keep the bottle at room temperature, free of heat and moisture. Make sure the bottle is tightly sealed when not being used.

What happens if I miss a dose?

You should take the medicine as fast as you are able, but avoid your missed dose in case it's later in the day. Don't take two doses at the same time.

What happens if I overdose?

The symptoms of an overdose can consist of confusion, fear, and hallucinations. extreme restlessness, sickness, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, feeling depressed or tired, irregular heartbeats, a low pulse, seizures, or slower breathing (breathing might cease).

What should be avoided?

Avoid driving or engaging in hazardous activities until you are aware of the effects Suprenza can have on your body. The way you react could be impaired. Consuming alcohol while taking this medication could cause adverse effects.

Interaction with other drugs

Suprenza taken in conjunction with other diet drugs like fenfluramine (Phen-Fen) and dexfenfluramine (Redux) could cause a rare lung disorder that can be fatal, known as chronic pulmonary hypertension. Do not combine this medication with any other diet medication without consulting your physician.
