What is Rosadan?

Rosadan (for skin) is used for the treatment of skin lesions that are caused by Rosacea. Rosadan can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Rosadan

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Rosadan may cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • You may experience tingling or burning in your feet or hands.
  • Rosadan can cause stinging and burning.

Rosadan can cause the following side effects:

  • Burning or stinging
  • Skin redness or irritation
  • Itchy, dry, or scaly skin
  • Cold symptoms like a stuffy nose and sneezing.

There may be other side effects.Call your physician if experiencing side effects; to report these, call 1-800-FDA-1088.

Before you take this drug

Rosadan should not be used if you have an allergy to it.

Inform your physician of any of the following issues:

  • A disorder of the nervous system.

Rosadan is not known to harm unborn babies. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Rosadan should not be used while breastfeeding. Rosadan should not be used by anyone under the age of 18.

How to take Rosadan?

Please carefully follow all instructions or guides included with your medication and follow all directions provided.Follow the directions on the label. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Rosadan should be applied after washing and drying the skin. Apply the medication thinly and completely rub it in. Rosadan can be used with cosmetics. Rosadan should not be used to treat skin conditions that have not been examined by a doctor. Even if your symptoms improve quickly, continue taking this medication until the entire duration is finished.You can increase the risk of infections resistant to medications by skipping doses. Rosadan can cause symptoms to worsen or not improve. Store away from heat or moisture at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If it is almost time for your next dose, skip any missed dosage and wait. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.

What happens if I overdose?

Rosadan overdose is unlikely to be harmful. If anyone accidentally swallows the medicine, seek emergency medical care or call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222.

What should be avoided?

Rosadan should not be used in the vagina. Rosadan can cause eye irritation.

Interaction with other drug

Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine applied to your skin. Many drugs interact with each other. Inform your healthcare provider about the medicines you take, including vitamins and herbal remedies.
