What is Rohto Dry-Aid?

This leaflet does not list all the brands or forms of ocular lubricant. Rohto Dry-Aid can be used by adults to relieve the burning, irritation, and discomfort that are caused by dry eye. Rohto Dry-Aid can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Rohto Dry-Aid

If you experience any of these signs of an allergic reaction, seek medical assistance immediately: difficulty breathing, hives or swelling to your lips or throat.

If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using Rohto Dry-Aid immediately and contact your doctor.

  • After using the medication, you may experience severe eye irritation, burning, stinging, or burning.
  • Eye pain
  • Vision changes

Some of the common side effects that Rohto Dry-Aid can cause include:

  • Mild eye irritation or burning;
  • Itching or redness in your eyes
  • Watery eyes
  • Blurred vision
  • Light sensitivity

Warnings

Do not use Rohto Dry-Aid for treating or preventing an eye infection.

Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to Rohto Dry-Aid, then it is best not to use the product. This medication will not prevent or treat an eye infection. If you suspect that you may have an infection, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether it's safe to use Rohto Dry-Aid. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing.

How to take Rohto Dry-Aid?

Read all instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all directions. Follow the directions on the label. Wash your hands before using Rohto Dry-Aid. Call your pharmacist immediately if you notice that the medicine has become cloudy or changed color. Avoid touching or placing directly onto your eye the tip. The tip of the eye dropper or ointment tube can cause serious vision problems if it is contaminated. If your symptoms don't improve or worsen while you are using Rohto Dry-Aid, call your doctor. Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Rohto Dry Aid is used as needed. You can skip any missed dose if you follow a schedule. Never use two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of ocular moisturizer are not dangerous. Should anyone accidentally consume medication, contact either 1-800-222-1222 or the Poison Help Line immediately for medical attention.

What should be avoided?

Rohto Dry-Aid can cause blurred vision. Avoid driving or engaging in potentially risky activities until you understand how a medication will impact you. You should only use eye drops prescribed by your doctor.

Interaction with other drug

Your other medications won't interfere with eye medication used on your eyes. Many drugs interact. Tell your doctor all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and herbal supplements.
