What is Remular-S?

Remular-S, a muscle relaxer, is used in conjunction with physical therapy and rest to treat conditions of the skeletal muscles, such as pain.This medication guide does not list all possible uses of Remular-S.

Side effects of Remular-S

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Remular-S can cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • A feeling of lightheadedness, as if you could pass out.
  • Skin rash or itching;
  • Liver problems: stomach pain (upper right), nausea, vomiting, or fever; dark urine or jaundice.
  • Signs of stomach bleeding include bloody or tarry stool, vomiting blood, or vomit that looks like coffee grounds.

Some of the common side effects associated with Remular-S include:

  • Drowsiness;
  • Dizziness;
  • General ill feeling.

Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to Remular-S, then it is best not to use this product.

Inform your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms:

  • Liver disease.

Tell your doctor if pregnant or nursing.Remular-S should not be used by anyone under the age of 18.

How to take Remular S?

Follow the instructions in the guide or instruction manual that comes with the medication. Your doctor may change your dose. Take the medicine exactly as directed.Take Remular-S 3–4 times daily. Do not forget to follow your doctor's instructions.Remular-S may be part of a comprehensive treatment program that includes rest, physical therapy, or other measures to relieve pain. Please follow your doctor's advice.Keep away from moisture and heat at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If you are almost due for your next dose, skip the missed one. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.

What happens if I overdose?

For poison assistance, call 1-800-222-1222 or get immediate medical help.Overdose symptoms include nausea and vomiting. Diarrhea may also be present.

What should be avoided?

Remedies and alcohol can have side effects.Do not drive or engage in hazardous activities until you have determined how the medicine will affect you. You may be unable to react properly.

Interaction with other drug

This effect can be worsened by using Remular-S in conjunction with other drugs that make you sleepy. Before taking opioids, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, or medications for anxiety or seizures, consult your doctor.Remular-S may be affected by other drugs, such as vitamins and herbal products. Inform your doctor of all the medicines you are taking and those that you stop or start using.
