Refresh Eye Itch Relief can cause serious side effects. Refresh Eye Itch Relief should be stopped immediately, and you should consult your doctor if:
- Eye pain or changes in sight
- Eye itching that becomes worse or lasts more than 72 hours
- If you experience severe eye irritation, burning, or stinging after using eye drops, discontinue use immediately.
- Signs of an eye infection include swelling, discomfort, crusting, or drainage.

Before you take this drug
Refresh Eye Itch Relief should not be used if:
- Contact lenses can cause eye irritation.
Consult your doctor before using Refresh Eye Itch Relief if you're pregnant or nursing.Refresh Eye Itch Relief should only be used by an adult.
How to take Refresh Eye Itch Relief?
You can follow the directions on the package or the prescription of your doctor.Use only when soft contact lenses are not worn. Refresh Eye Itch Relief may contain a staining agent that will permanently stain lenses. Wait for at least 10 minutes prior to inserting contact lenses.Before using eye medications, wash your hands.Apply the eye drops by pulling down your lower lid to create a pocket. Squeeze a few drops into the pocket. For a few minutes, close your eyes.Only use the number of drops prescribed.Wait for at least five minutes before using another eye drop.Do not touch the tip or place the dropper directly in your eye. A contaminated dropper may cause serious vision problems and infection of your eye.If the medication is cloudy, has changed color, or contains particles, call your pharmacist.Each vial can only be used once (in both eyes). Keep the vials away from light and store them in their original foil pouch. After one use, throw away the vial, even if it still contains medicine.Store upright, tightly closed, and at room temperature. Do not freeze.
What happens if I miss the dose?
If you are almost due for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.
What happens if I overdose?
If anyone accidentally swallows the medicine, seek emergency medical care or call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222.
What should be avoided?
You should only use eye drops prescribed by your doctor.
Interaction with other drug
Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine used on your eyes. Many drugs interact. Tell your doctor all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter and prescription drugs, vitamins, and herbal remedies.
