What is Moisture Eyes?

This leaflet does not list all the brands or forms of ocular lubricant.

Adults can use moisturizing eye drops to soothe the burning, irritation, and discomfort of dry eye syndrome.

This medication guide does not list all possible uses for Moisture Eyes.

Side effects of Moisture Eyes

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergy reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling in your lips, face, throat, or tongue.

If you experience:

  • After using the medication, you may experience severe eye irritation, burning, or stinging.
  • Eye pain
  • Vision changes

Some of the common side effects associated with moisturizing the eyes include:

  • Mild eye irritation or burning;
  • Itching, or a reddening of the eyes.
  • Watery Eyes
  • Blurred vision
  • Light sensitivity

Warnings

Moisture Eyes should not be used to prevent or treat an eye infection.

Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to moisturizer, then do not use it. The medicine does not prevent or treat an eye infection.

If you suspect that you may have an infection, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Moisture Eyes is suitable for use.

Inform your doctor of any pregnancy or nursing.

How to take Moisturize Eyes?

Read all the instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all the directions. Follow the directions on your prescription label.

Wash your hands before using Moisture Eyes.

Call your pharmacist immediately if you notice that the medication has become cloudy or a different color.

Avoid touching the tip or placing it on the eye. The tip of the eye dropper or ointment tube can cause serious vision issues if it is contaminated.

If your symptoms don't improve or worsen while you are using Moisture Eyes, call your doctor.

Keep away from heat and moisture. Store at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

When needed, MoistureEyes is applied. You can skip missed doses if you have a schedule. Never use more than one dose at a time.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of ocular moisturizer are not dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, call 1-800-222-1222 or the Poison Help Line for immediate medical assistance.

What should be avoided?

Blurred vision can be caused by moist eyes. Do not drive or engage in any hazardous activities until you have determined how the medicine affects you.

You should only use eye drops prescribed by your physician.

Interaction with other drug

Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine used on your eyes. Many drugs interact. Inform your doctor of all the medications you are taking, including prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines.
