How to take Miconazole 7?
Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration. Use the recommended dose and do not exceed it.This medicine should not be taken by mouth. This medicine is only to be used in the vagina. Miconazole 7 should be washed off your hands after use. Use the appropriate applicator to insert the tablet, cream, or suppository into the vagina. Use a sanitary towel to avoid the medication staining clothing. Do not use a tampon. Even during menstruation, take the medication as prescribed. You may experience improvement in your symptoms before the infection has completely resolved. You may increase the risk of a second infection resistant to Miconazole 7 by skipping doses. Consult your doctor if the infection persists after you've finished a course of treatment or appears to be getting worse. It is possible that you have a different type of infection.Rinse your eyes with water if this medication accidentally gets into your eyes.Keep away from heat and moisture. Store at room temperature.
What happens if I miss the dose?
As soon as possible, take the dose you missed. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, forgoing it and only applying one. Please remember this medication must never be administered twice!
What happens if I overdose?
Overdoses of Miconazole 7 are unlikely. You should contact your local poison control or emergency department if you suspect that Miconazole 7, or an amount larger than the normal dosage, has been consumed.
What should be avoided?
Wear loose-a cotton or other natural fiber clothing until your infection has cleared up.Miconazole can damage diaphragms or condoms. While using Miconazole 7, use another form of contraception.
Interaction with other drug
Miconazole, applied vaginally, is unlikely to interact with other drugs taken orally or injected. Many drugs interact. Inform your healthcare providers of all the medicines that you take, including prescription medicines and over-the-counter medicines.
