What is MG Plus Protein?

Natural magnesium is found in the body. Magnesium plays a vital role in many body systems, especially muscles and nerves. Chelated magnesium can be easily absorbed. As a magnesium supplement, chelated magnesium can be used to ensure that the body has enough magnesium. This medication guide does not list all possible uses for chelated magnesium.

Side effects of Magnesium

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergy: dizziness, difficulty breathing, swelling in your lips, face, throat, or tongue; hives, severe dizziness, and/or severe rashes, seek emergency medical attention.

The product can cause severe side effects. If you experience:

  • Severe or ongoing diarrhea;
  • Muscle cramps
  • Depression is a feeling of fatigue or irritation.

Side effects that may occur from the mg plus protein include:

  • Diarrhea;
  • Nausea, stomach pain;
  • Upset stomach.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration. Use the recommended dose and do not exceed it.

Before you take this drug

If you're allergic or have kidney problems, you shouldn't use chelated magnesium.

If you suffer from other health conditions, such as:

  • Diabetes;
  • ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
  • If you are malnourished,
  • If you consume large quantities of alcohol,.

This product can contain phenylalanine if it is artificially sweetened. If you have phenylketonuria, check the label of your medication. You may need a different dose during pregnancy and while nursing. Give chelated magnesium only after consulting a doctor.

How to take Magnesium?

Do not exceed the recommended dosage or use it longer than prescribed. Use it only as directed. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or use for more time than advised. Chelated magnesium is best taken with water. To reap the maximum benefits, use chelated magnesium regularly. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor: confusion, an irregular heartbeat, muscle jerking, muscle weakness, or a limping feeling. You may require frequent blood tests if you use chelated magnesium. You may need to test your kidney function. You should follow your doctor's advice. At room temperature, avoid heat and moisture as much as possible.

What happens if I miss the dose?

As soon as possible, take the missed dose.If your next dose is approaching quickly, skip any missed dosage.You should not take more medicine to compensate for a missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

Call 1-800-222-1222 for poison help or seek immediate medical attention.The symptoms of an overdose may include nausea, fainting, numbness, tingling, or limp muscles.

What should be avoided?

Use only the antacids that your physician has prescribed. Certain antacids may make it difficult for the body to absorb magnesium chelated. Avoid taking an antibiotic within 3 or 2 hours of taking chelated magnesium.

Interaction with other drug

If you also use any of these drugs, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether it's safe to use the product.

  • Digoxin, digitalis, and lanoxin;
  • Antibiotic medications (ciprofloxacin, demeclocycline, doxycycline, levofloxacin, minocycline, moxifloxacin, norfloxacin, ofloxacin and tetracycline among others);
  • Medicines to treat osteoporosis or paget's disease--alendronate, etidronate, ibandronate (boniva), pamidronate, risedronate and zoledronic acid (reclast, zometa) among others--may help improve bone strength.
