What is Lorzone?

Lorzone is an anti-spasmodic that can be used in conjunction with physical therapy and rest to treat muscle injuries or conditions.Lorzone can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Lorzone

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of your lips, face, or throat.

Lorzone may cause serious side effects. Call your doctor immediately if:

  • A feeling of lightheadedness, as if you could pass out.
  • Skin rash or itching;
  • Liver problems: stomach pain (upper right), nausea, vomiting, or fever; dark urine or jaundice.
  • Signs of stomach bleeding include bloody or tarry stool, vomiting blood, or vomit that looks like coffee grounds.

Lorzone can cause the following side effects:

  • Drowsiness;
  • Dizziness;
  • General ill feeling.

How to take Lorzone?

Follow the directions and instructions that are included with the medication.Sometimes, your doctor will change the doseTake the medicine exactly as directed.Lorzone is typically taken three or four times per day. Do not forget to follow your doctor's instructions.Lorzone may be part of a comprehensive treatment programme that also includes rest, physical therapy, or other measures to relieve pain. You should follow your doctor's advice.Keep away from moisture and heat at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If you are almost due for your next dose, skip the missed one. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.

What happens if I overdose?

For poison assistance, call 1-800-222-1222 or get immediate medical help.Overdose symptoms include nausea and vomiting. Diarrhoea may also be present.

What should be avoided?

Lorzone and alcohol can have side effects.Do not drive or engage in hazardous activities until you have determined how the medicine will affect you. You may be unable to react properly.

Interaction with other drug

Lorzone can make you more drowsy. Before taking an opioid, sleeping pill, muscle relaxer, or medicine to treat anxiety or seizures, consult your doctor.Lorzone may interact with other drugs, such as prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. Inform your doctor of all the medicines you are taking and those that you stop or start using.
