What is Visine long-lasting?

Visine (for the eye) provides temporary relief from minor redness of the eye or discomfort due to minor irritations.

Uneeq is a prescription-only version of oxymetazoline ophthalmic. It is used to treat blepharoptosis. This condition causes a droopy eyelid on one or both eyelids. Uneeq can be used by adults and children over 13 years of age.visine long-lasting may be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Visine long-lasting

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Visine long-lasting can cause serious side effects. Visine long-lasting should be stopped immediately, and you should consult your doctor if:

  • A feeling of lightheadedness, as if you could pass out.
  • Eye redness that persists or worsens
  • Eye pain
  • Changes in your vision

Long-lasting vision may cause the following side effects:

  • Mild burning or stinging in the eyes;
  • Watery eyes, blurred vision,
  • Mild headache, dizziness, and nervousness.

How to take Visine long-lasting?

Follow the directions on the bottle or those prescribed by your physician. This medicine may cause your symptoms to worsen if you use it too long or often. Damage can also occur to your eyes' blood vessels, compromising them further.

Use only when wearing soft lenses. This medicine contains a preservative that could permanently stain lenses. Use the medication at least 15 minutes prior to inserting your contacts.before using eye medications, wash your hands.

Before each use, shake the eye drops thoroughly.applying eye drops is as simple as tilting your head back and pulling down your lower lid to create a pocket. Squeeze a few drops into the pocket created by holding the dropper over the eye. Close your eyes for a minute or two.only use the recommended number of drops.

Avoid touching the tip or placing it directly on your eye. If the dropper is contaminated, it can cause serious vision problems.if your symptoms persist after three days of treatment, call your doctor.storing this medication upright at room temperature is recommended. Do not freeze.keep this medication out of reach of children. Some eye drops can cause serious health problems for a child who accidentally swallows or sucks the medicine.each single-use bottle is only for one-time use. After one use, throw it out, even if the medicine is still inside.

What happens if i miss the dose?

Visine long-lasting is used as needed and may not have a set schedule. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip any missed dose. Never take two doses in one go.

What happens if i overdose?

Visine is long-lasting and unlikely to cause harm in an overdose. If anyone accidentally swallows the medicine, seek emergency medical care or call poison help at 1-800-222-1222.

What should be avoided?

You should only use eye drops prescribed by your doctor.

Interaction with other drug

Before using oxymetazoline in conjunction with other medications, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

  • Heart or blood pressure medication;
  • A beta-blocker, such as atenolol (also known as a beta-blocker), carvedilol (also known as a beta-blocker), labetalol (also called a beta-blocker), metoprolol (also known by the name of nadolol), nebivolol (also known as a nebivolol), and propranolol (also known under the name sotalo)
  • Mao inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue injection, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline and tranylcypromine as examples.
