What is Hypotears?

Side effects of Hypotears
If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of the face, lips, or throat.
If you experience:
- After using the medication, you may experience severe eye irritation, burning, or stinging.
- Eye pain
- Vision changes
Some of the common side effects associated with hypotears include:
- Mild eye irritation or burning;
- Itching or redness in your eyes
- Watery eyes
- Blurred vision
- Light sensitivity

Warnings
Do not use hypotears for treating or preventing an eye infection.
Before you take this drug
If you have an allergy to hypotears, then do not use it. This medication will not prevent or treat an eye infection.If you suspect that you may have an infection, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether it's safe to use hypotears.Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing.
How to take Hypotears?
Read all instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all directions. Follow the directions on the label.Before using Hypotears, wash your hands.Call your pharmacist immediately if you notice that the medicine has become cloudy or changed color.Avoid touching the tip or placing it directly on your eye. The tip of the eye dropper or ointment tube can cause serious vision problems if it is contaminated.If your symptoms don't improve or worsen while using Hypotears, call your doctor.Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Hypotears can be used as needed. You should not take any missed doses if you have a regular dosing regimen. Never use two doses in one go.
What happens if I overdose?
Overdoses of ocular moisturizer are not dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, call 1-800-222-1222 or the Poison Help Line for immediate medical attention.
What should be avoided?
Blurred vision can be caused by hypotears. Do not drive or do any hazardous activities until you have determined how the medicine will affect you.You should only use eye drops prescribed by your doctor.
Interaction with other drug
Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine used on your eyes. Many drugs interact. Tell your doctor all the medications you are taking, including prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
