What is Histex-AC?

Triprolidine is an antihistamine that decreases the effects of the natural chemical histamine that is present in the body. Histamine is known to cause nose sneezing, itching, watery eyes, as well as nasal congestion. Codeine is a drug that acts as a cough suppressant. It interferes with the signals in the brain that trigger the cough reflex.

Phenylephrine can be described as an anti-congestant that reduces the size of blood vessels in nasal passages.
